2 Líbrame, Yahveh, del hombre malo, del hombre violento guárdame,	2 Deliver me, LORD, from the wicked; preserve me from the violent,
3 los que en su corazón maquinan males, y peleas albergan todo el día,	3 From those who plan evil in their hearts, who stir up conflicts every day,
4 aguzan su lengua igual que una serpiente, veneno de víbora hay bajo sus labios. Pausa	4 Who sharpen their tongues like serpents, venom of asps upon their lips. Selah
5 Presérvame, Yahveh, de las manos del impío, del hombre violento guárdame, los que proyectan trastornar mis pasos,	5 Keep me, LORD, from the clutches of the wicked; preserve me from the violent, who plot to trip me up.
6 los insolentes que me han ocultado cepo y lazos, y tienden una red bajo mis pies, y al borde del sendero me han emplazado trampas. Pausa.	6 The arrogant have set a trap for me; villains have spread a net, laid snares for me by the wayside. Selah
7 Yo he dicho a Yahveh: Tú eres mi Dios, escucha, Yahveh, la voz de mis súplicas.	7 I say to the LORD: You are my God; listen, LORD, to the words of my prayer.

9 No otorgues, Yahveh, al impío su deseo, no dejes que su plan se realice. Los que me asedian no alcen sobre mí	9 LORD, do not grant the desires of the wicked; do not let their plots succeed. Selah
10 su cabeza, Pausa ahóguelos la malicia de sus labios;	10 Around me they raise their proud heads; may the mischief they threaten overwhelm them.
11 llueva sobre ellos carbones encendidos, en el abismo hundidos, no se levanten más;	11 May God rain burning coals upon them, cast them into the grave never more to rise.
12 no arraigue más en la tierra el deslenguado. al violento lo atrape de golpe la desgracia.	12 Slanderers will not survive on earth; evil will quickly entrap the violent.
13 Sé que Yahveh al humilde hará justicia, y llevará el juicio de los pobres.	13 For I know the LORD will secure justice for the needy, their rights for the poor.
14 Sí, los justos darán gracias a tu nombre, los rectos morarán en tu presencia.	14 Then the just will give thanks to your name; the upright will dwell in your presence.
