1 Al maestro di coro. Secondo "Macalot". Maskil. Di Davide.	1 [For the choirmaster In sickness Poem Of David] The fool has said in his heart, 'There is no God!'They are corrupt, vile and unjust, not one of them does right.
2 Dice lo stolto nel suo cuore: "Non c'è Dio". Pervertono, corrompono la loro condotta: non c'è chi faccia il bene.	2 God looks down from heaven at the children of Adam, to see if a single one is wise, a single oneseeks God.
3 Dio dai cieli volge lo sguardo sopra i figli degli uomini per vedere se c'è chi intenda, chi ricerchi Dio.	3 Al have proved faithless, al alike turned sour, not one of them does right, not a single one.
4 Tutti hanno deviato, insieme si sono corrotti: non c'è chi faccia il bene, non ce n'è neppure uno.	4 Are they not aware, these evil-doers? They are devouring my people; this is the bread they eat, andthey never call upon God.
5 Non metteranno giudizio tutti gli operatori d'iniquità, che divorano il suo popolo come se mangiassero pane? Non hanno invocato Dio,	5 They wil be gripped with fear, just where there is no need for fear, for God scatters the bones of himwho besieges you; they are mocked because God rejects them.
6 ed ecco li ha colti un gran timore là dove non c'è timore, perché Dio ha disperso le ossa dell'assediante; sono confusi, perché Dio li ha respinti.	6 Who wil bring from Zion salvation for Israel? When God brings his people home, what joy for Jacob,what happiness for Israel!
7 Oh, venga da Sion la salvezza d'Israele! Quando restaurerà Dio le sorti del suo popolo, allora esulti Giacobbe, s'allieti Israele.
