1 Как смеет кто у вас, имея дело с другим, судиться у нечестивых, а не у святых?	1 Is one of you with a complaint against another so brazen as to seek judgement from sinners and notfrom God's holy people?
2 Разве не знаете, что святые будут судить мир? Если же вами будет судим мир, то неужели вы недостойны судить маловажные [дела]?	2 Do you not realise that the holy people of God are to be the judges of the world? And if the world is tobe judged by you, are you not competent for petty cases?
3 Разве не знаете, что мы будем судить ангелов, не тем ли более [дела] житейские?	3 Do you not realise that we shal be the judges of angels? - then quite certainly over matters of this life.
4 А вы, когда имеете житейские тяжбы, поставляете [своими судьями] ничего не значащих в церкви.	4 But when you have matters of this life to be judged, you bring them before those who are of no accountin the Church!
5 К стыду вашему говорю: неужели нет между вами ни одного разумного, который мог бы рассудить между братьями своими?	5 I say this to make you ashamed of yourselves. Can it real y be that it is impossible to find in thecommunity one sensible person capable of deciding questions between brothers,
6 Но брат с братом судится, и притом перед неверными.	6 and that this is why brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers?
7 И то уже весьма унизительно для вас, что вы имеете тяжбы между собою. Для чего бы вам лучше не оставаться обиженными? для чего бы вам лучше не терпеть лишения?	7 No; it is a fault in you, by itself, that one of you should go to law against another at al : why do you notprefer to suffer injustice, why not prefer to be defrauded?
8 Но вы [сами] обижаете и отнимаете, и притом у братьев.	8 And here you are, doing the injustice and the defrauding, and to your own brothers.
9 Или не знаете, что неправедные Царства Божия не наследуют? Не обманывайтесь: ни блудники, ни идолослужители, ни прелюбодеи, ни малакии, ни мужеложники,	9 Do you not realise that people who do evil wil never inherit the kingdom of God? Make no mistake --the sexual y immoral, idolaters, adulterers, the self-indulgent, sodomites,
10 ни воры, ни лихоимцы, ни пьяницы, ни злоречивые, ни хищники--Царства Божия не наследуют.	10 thieves, misers, drunkards, slanderers and swindlers, none of these wil inherit the kingdom of God.
11 И такими были некоторые из вас; но омылись, но освятились, но оправдались именем Господа нашего Иисуса Христа и Духом Бога нашего.	11 Some of you used to be of that kind: but you have been washed clean, you have been sanctified, andyou have been justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and through the Spirit of our God.
12 Все мне позволительно, но не все полезно; все мне позволительно, но ничто не должно обладать мною.	12 'For me everything is permissible'; maybe, but not everything does good. True, for me everything ispermissible, but I am determined not to be dominated by anything.
13 Пища для чрева, и чрево для пищи; но Бог уничтожит и то и другое. Тело же не для блуда, но для Господа, и Господь для тела.	13 Foods are for the stomach, and the stomach is for foods; and God wil destroy them both. But thebody is not for sexual immorality;
14 Бог воскресил Господа, воскресит и нас силою Своею.	14 it is for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body. God raised up the Lord and he will raise us up too by hispower.
15 Разве не знаете, что тела ваши суть члены Христовы? Итак отниму ли члены у Христа, чтобы сделать [их] членами блудницы? Да не будет!	15 Do you not realise that your bodies are members of Christ's body; do you think one can take parts ofChrist's body and join them to the body of a prostitute? Out of the question!
16 Или не знаете, что совокупляющийся с блудницею становится одно тело [с нею]? ибо сказано: два будут одна плоть.	16 Or do you not realise that anyone who attaches himself to a prostitute is one body with her, since thetwo, as it is said, become one flesh.
17 А соединяющийся с Господом есть один дух с Господом.	17 But anyone who attaches himself to the Lord is one spirit with him.
18 Бегайте блуда; всякий грех, какой делает человек, есть вне тела, а блудник грешит против собственного тела.	18 Keep away from sexual immorality. Al other sins that people may commit are done outside the body;but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.
19 Не знаете ли, что тела ваши суть храм живущего в вас Святаго Духа, Которого имеете вы от Бога, и вы не свои?	19 Do you not realise that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you and whom youreceived from God?
20 Ибо вы куплены [дорогою] ценою. Посему прославляйте Бога и в телах ваших и в душах ваших, которые суть Божии.	20 You are not your own property, then; you have been bought at a price. So use your body for the gloryof God.
