Epistola di Santo Paulo alli Galati 6

BIBBIA VOLGARE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Fratelli, se alcuno di voi sarà preso in alcuno peccato, gli altri che son spirituali si ammaestrino quel tale con spirito di pianezza, considerando sè medesimi, che non siano tentati.	1 Brothers, even if one of you is caught doing something wrong, those of you who are spiritual should setthat person right in a spirit of gentleness; and watch yourselves that you are not put to the test in the same way.
2 Porti l'uno il carico dell' altro; e così adempirete la legge di Cristo.	2 Carry each other's burdens; that is how to keep the law of Christ.
3 Chè certo, se alcuno si tiene d' essere alcuna. cosa, quello inganna sè medesimo.	3 Someone who thinks himself important, when he is not, only deceives himself;
4 Ma ciascuno proverà le sue opere; e così in sè medesimo averà gloria, e non in altrui.	4 but everyone is to examine his own achievements, and then he wil confine his boasting to his ownachievements, not comparing them with anybody else's.
5 Ciascuno porterà il suo carico.	5 Each one has his own load to carry.
6 Quel ch' è ammaestrato di parole, comunichi insieme a colui che ammaestra di tutte le cose buone sè medesimo.	6 When someone is under instruction in doctrine, he should give his teacher a share in al hispossessions.
7 Non errate; chè Dio non sarà sbeffato.	7 Don't delude yourself: God is not to be fooled; whatever someone sows, that is what he wil reap.
8 E quelle cose che l'uomo seminerà, quelle raccoglierà; chè quelli che semina nella sua carne, della carne ricoglie corruzione; ma quel che semina nel spirito miete (e ricoglie) vita eterna.	8 If his sowing is in the field of self-indulgence, then his harvest from it wil be corruption; if his sowing is inthe Spirit, then his harvest from the Spirit wil be eternal life.
9 Noi che facciamo bene (non ci stanchiamo e) non veniamo meno; chè noi ricoglieremo nel suo tempo, se noi non stanchiamo.	9 And let us never slacken in doing good; for if we do not give up, we shal have our harvest in due time.
10 Adunque, mentre avemo tempo, operiamo bene a tutta la gente, e massimamente a coloro che son domestichi della fede.	10 So then, as long as we have the opportunity let al our actions be for the good of everybody, andespecial y of those who belong to the household of the faith.
11 Vedete come scrissi le lettere di mia mano.	11 Notice what large letters I have used in writing to you with my own hand.
12 Quegli vogliono piacere nella carne, che son quelli che vi costringono che voi vi circoncidiate, solamente fanno questo, perchò non sostengano persecuzione della croce di Cristo.	12 It is those who want to cut a figure by human standards who force circumcision on you, simply so thatthey will not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.
13 Chè quelli che si circoncidono, non osservano la legge; ma vogliono che vi circoncidiate per gloriarsi nella vostra carne.	13 Even though they are circumcised they stil do not keep the Law themselves; they want you to becircumcised only so that they can boast of your outward appearance.
14 Ma non piaccia a Dio, ch' io mi rallegri, salvo nella croce del nostro Signore Iesù Cristo; per il quale il mondo è crucifisso a me, e io al mondo.	14 But as for me, it is out of the question that I should boast at al , except of the cross of our Lord JesusChrist, through whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
15 E in Iesù Cristo la circoncisione non vale alcuna cosa, nè il prepuzio, ma la nuova creatura.	15 It is not being circumcised or uncircumcised that matters; but what matters is a new creation.
16 E qualunque andarà per questa regola, pace sia sopra lui e misericordia, e sopra Israel di Dio.	16 Peace and mercy to al who fol ow this as their rule and to the Israel of God.
17 Da ora inanzi niuno mi faccia rincrescimento; chè io porto le piaghe del mio Signore Iesù Cristo nel mio corpo.	17 After this, let no one trouble me; I carry branded on my body the marks of Jesus.
18 Fratelli, la grazia del nostro Signore Iesù Cristo sia col spirito vostro.	18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, my brothers. Amen.
