1 Questo dice lo Signore Iddio: sopra le tre fellonie di Moab, e alla quarta non lo convertirò; però che arsono le ossa dello re d' Idumea persino alla cenere.	1 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:
2 E metterò lo fuoco in Moab, e divorerà le case di Cariot (e di Moab); e Moab morrà in quel suono, e nel suono della tromba.	2 But I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kerioth: and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet:
3 E dispergerò ogni giudice del mezzo di lui, e ogni suo signore ucciderò [con] lui, dice lo Signore Iddio.	3 And I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith the LORD.
4 E questo dice lo Signore Iddio: sopra le tre fellonie di Giuda, e alla quarta non lo convertirò; però che gittarono via la legge del Signore Iddio, e non guardarono li suoi comandamenti; li idoli ingannarono loro, dopo li quali erano andati li loro padri.	4 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked:
5 E io metterò fuoco in Giuda, e divorerà le case di Ierusalem.	5 But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.
6 E questo dice lo Signore: sopra le tre fellonie d' Israel, e alla quarta io non lo convertirò; però che venderono lo giusto per argento, e lo povero venderono per lo calzamento.	6 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes;
7 I quali spezzano i capi de' poveri sopra la polvere della terra, e fuggono (lo povero e) la via delli umili; e lo figliuolo e lo padre andarono alla giovane femina (per isforzare lei, e) per corrompere lo mio santo nome.	7 That pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father will go in unto the same maid, to profane my holy name:
8 E giacerono sopra le vestimenta sante a lato. a ogni altare; bevvono lo vino de' dannati nella casa. dello Signore Iddio.	8 And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god.
9 E io mortificai e guastai l'Amorreo (cioè quelli di quella contrada), nella loro faccia, la cui altezza si è come l'altezza de' cedri, ed egli è ancora forte come la quercia; e istritolai (e guastai) lo suo frutto di sopra, e le sue radici di sotto.	9 Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.
10 Io sono colui il quale vi feci salire della terra d'Egitto, e mena'vi per lo deserto XL anni, acciò che voi possedeste la terra delli Amorrei.	10 Also I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years through the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.
11 E (rilevai e) suscitai li vostri figliuoli, e fecine profeti; de' vostri giovani feci santi di Dio; non sarà così, o figliuolo d' Israel? dice lo Signore.	11 And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the LORD.
12 Ma voi mescerete lo vino alli santi di Dio; e alli profeti comanderete, dicendo: non profetate.	12 But ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not.
13 Ecco, io striderò sopra voi, sì come lo carro carico di fieno.	13 Behold, I am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves.
14 E la fuga perirà dal veloce, e lo forte non potrà tenere forte la sua virtute, e lo robusto non potrà fare salva l'anima sua.	14 Therefore the flight shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his force, neither shall the mighty deliver himself:
15 E quello che tiene l'arco non starà, e lo veloce delli suoi piedi non si salverà, e quelli che sàleno alli cavalli non salveranno l' anima sua.	15 Neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver himself: neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver himself.
16 E lo robusto di cuore fuggirà tra li forti ignudo in quello dì, dice lo Signore Iddio.	16 And he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith the LORD.
