Ezechiele 6

BIBBIA VOLGARE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 E la parola di Dio si fece a me, dicendo:	1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,
2 O figliuolo d'uomo, poni la tua faccia ai monti d' Israel, e profeterai a loro.	2 'Son of man, turn towards the mountains of Israel and prophesy against them.
3 E dirai monti d' Israel, udite la parola del Signore Iddio: questo dice lo Signore Iddio a' monti e a' colli: ecco io adducerò sopra voi lo coltello, e dispergerò le vostre alte cose.	3 Say, "Mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Yahweh. The Lord Yahweh says this to mountainsand hil s and ravines and val eys: Look, I am going to summon the sword against you and destroy your highplaces.
4 E disfarò li vostri altari, e le vostre idolatrie si romperanno; li vostri morti gitterò inanzi alli vostri idoli.	4 Your altars will be wrecked, and your incense burners smashed; I shal fling your butchered inhabitantsdown in front of your foul idols;
5 E darò li corpi morti de' figliuoli d' Israel inanzi alle facce delli idoli vostri, e dispergerò le vostre ossa intorno alli vostri altari,	5 I shall lay the corpses of the Israelites in front of their foul idols and scatter their bones all round youraltars.
6 in tutte le vostre abitazioni. Le cittadi saranno deserte, e l'altezze saranno disfatte; e li vostri altari saranno dissipati e rotti; e li vostri idoli cesseranno, e spezzerannosi le case delli idoli, e le vostre opere saranno spente.	6 Wherever you live, the towns will be destroyed and the high places wrecked, to the ruin and wrecking ofyour altars, the shattering and abolition of your foul idols, the smashing of your incense burners and the utterdestruction of al your works.
7 E lo morto in mezzo di voi caderà, e saprete ch' io sono lo Signore.	7 As the butchered fall about you, you wil know that I am Yahweh.
8 E lascerò in voi quelli che averanno fuggito lo coltello nelle genti, quando io vi averoe dispersi nelle terre.	8 "But I shal spare some of you to escape the sword among the nations, when you have been dispersedin their lands;
9 E li vostri liberati si ricordaranno di me nelle genti alle quali sono menati in prigione; però ch' io hoe tritato lo loro cuore, il quale era fornicante e partentesi da me; li loro occhi faceano fornicazione dopo li loro idoli; e a loro medesimi dispiaceranno sopra li mali che feciono in tutte le universe abominazioni sue.	9 and your survivors wil remember me among the nations where they are held captive, since I shal havebroken their adulterous hearts for having deserted me, and destroyed their eyes for having turned adulterouslytowards their foul idols. They wil loathe themselves for al the wrong they have caused by their loathsomepractices.
10 E sapranno, ch' io Signore non parlerò indarno per fare a loro questo male.	10 Then they wil know that I am Yahweh and that I was not talking lightly when I said that I would inflictthese disasters on them."
11 Questo dice lo Signore Iddio: percuoti la tua mano, e percuoti lo tuo piede, e di': guai a tutte l'abominazioni delli rei della casa d'Israel, però che sono stati nutriti per coltello e per fame e per pestilenza.	11 'The Lord Yahweh says this, "Clap your hands, stamp your feet, and say: Alas for al the loathsomesins of the House of Israel, which is about to fal by sword, famine and plague!
12 Quello ch' è da lunga, morrà di pestilenza; e quello ch' è presso, morrà di coltello; e chi sarà abbandonato e assediato, morrà di fame; e compierò la mia indignazione in loro.	12 Far off, they wil die by plague; near at hand they will fal by the sword; and any who survive or arespared wil die of famine. This is how I shal sate my fury on them.
13 E saprete ch' io sono Iddio, quando saranno morti li vostri nel mezzo de' vostri idoli, nel circuito de' vostri altari, in ogni alto colle, e in tutte le sommità de' monti, e sotto ogni legno di bosco, e sotto ogni quercia fronduta, cioè lo luogo dove accesono lo incenso odorifero alli universi loro idoli.	13 Then you will know that I am Yahweh, when their butchered corpses lie among their foul idols, allround their altars, on every high hil , on every mountain top, under every green tree, under every leafy oak,wherever they offer a smel pleasing to al their idols.
14 E distenderò la mia mano sopra loro; e la loro terra farò desolata e abbandonata, dal deserto di Deblata, in tutte le loro abitazioni; e sapranno ch' io sono lo Signore Iddio.	14 I shal point my finger at them and reduce the country to an empty wasteland from the desert to Riblah,everywhere they live, and they wil know that I am Yahweh." '
