Ezechiele 32

BIBBIA VOLGARE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 E fu fatto nel duodecimo anno, nel mese duodecimo, a dì primo del mese, che Iddio disse a me:	1 In the twelfth year, on the first day of the twelfth month, the word of Yahweh was addressed to me asfol ows,
2 O figliuolo d' uomo, piglia lamento sopra Faraone, re d'Egitto, e dirai a lui: tu se' assomigliato allo leone delle genti, e allo drago lo quale è nel mare; e ventolavi col corno nei fiumi tuoi, e turbavi l'acque con i tuoi piedi, e conculcavi li loro fiumi.	2 'Son of man, raise a lament for Pharaoh king of Egypt. Say to him: "Young lion of nations, you aredestroyed! Once you were like a crocodile in the lagoons; emerging from your rivers, you churned up the waterwith your trampling and fouled their streams.
3 Però questo dice lo Signore Iddio: io spanderò sopra te la mia rete nella moltitudine de' miei popoli, e trarrotti fuori colla mia sagena.	3 "The Lord Yahweh says this: I shal throw my net over you in a great concourse of nations; and theywil trawl you up in my net. Then I shal leave you high and dry,
4 E gitterotti in terra; io ti gitterò sopra la faccia del campo, e farò abitare sopra a te tutti li uccelli del cielo, e farò di te tutte le bestie della terra sazie.	4 I shal throw you out into the wilds and make al the birds of heaven settle on you, and glut all thebeasts of the earth with you.
5 E porrò le tue carni sopra li monti, ed empierò li colli della tua bruttura.	5 I shal strew your flesh on your mountains and fil the val eys with your corruption;
6 E bagnerò (tutta) la terra del fetore del tuo sangue, e anche li monti e le valli si riempieranno di te.	6 I shal water the country with what flows from you, with your blood, on the mountainsides, and you wilfill the ravines.
7 E coprirò lo cielo, quando sarai stato estinto, e farò diventare nere le stelle del cielo; e coprirò lo sole col nuvolo, e la luna non darà lo suo lume.	7 When I extinguish you I shal cover the skies and darken the stars. I shall cover the sun with cloudsand the moon wil not give its light.
8 E farò dolere sopra di te tutti li luminari del cielo, e darò le tenebre sopra la tua terra, dice lo Signore Iddio, quando cadranno feriti ... dice lo Signor Iddio.	8 I shal dim every luminary in heaven because of you and cover your country in darkness -declares theLord Yahweh.
9 E commoverò a ira lo cuore di molti popoli, quando averò indotto la tua contrizione nelle genti sopra le terre le quali tu non sai.	9 "I shall grieve the heart of many peoples when I bring about your destruction among the nations, incountries unknown to you.
10 E faró maravigliare sopra te molti popoli; e li loro re con molto spaventamento temeranno sopra te (per tutte le tue iniquitadi le quali tu hai adoperate), quando lo mio coltello averà incominciato a volare sopra le loro faccie; ciascuni staranno ismemorati per l'anima sua nello di della tua ruina.	10 I shal stun many peoples with shock at your fate; their kings wil tremble with horror at your fate,when I brandish my sword before their eyes. The day you fal , each wil tremble in terror for his life.
11 Però che questo dice lo Signore Iddio: lo coltello dello re di Babilonia verrà a te.	11 For the Lord Yahweh says this: The sword of the king of Babylon wil overtake you.
12 E caccerò la tua moltitudine tra li coltelli de' forti; tutte queste genti sono inespugnabili, e guasteranno la superbia d' Egitto, e la sua moltitudine sarà dissipata.	12 I shal make your throngs of subjects fall at the swords of my warriors. They are the most barbarousof nations. They wil annihilate the pride of Egypt, and al its throngs will be destroyed.
13 E ucciderò tutti i suoi giumenti, li quali erano sopra molte acque; e lo piede dell' uomo non le turberà più, nè l' unghia delli giumenti.	13 I shal also destroy al its cattle beside the plentiful waters. No human foot wil churn them, no animalfoot wil churn them up again;
14 Allora io farò l' acque [loro] purissime, e li loro fiumi farò come l' olio, dice lo Signore Iddio,	14 then I shal let their waters settle and make their rivers glide like oil -- declares the Lord Yahweh.
15 quando io averò fatta la terra d' Egitto desolata; e la terra sarà abbandonata dalla sua plenitudine, quando io averò percossi tutti i suoi abitatori; e sapranno ch' io sono Iddio Signore.	15 "When I reduce Egypt to a ruin and the country is stripped of its contents, when I strike all those wholive there, they wil know that I am Yahweh.
16 Pianto è, e piagneranno lui; e piagneranno le figliuole delle genti, e piagneranno sopra Egitto e sopra la sua moltitudine, dice lo Signore Iddio.	16 "Such is the lament which the daughters of the nations wil raise. They wil raise it over Egypt and allits throng. This is the lament they will raise -- declares the Lord Yahweh." '
17 E disse Iddio a me nel duodecimo anno, nel XV dì del mese:	17 In the twelfth year, on the fifteenth day of the first month, the word of Yahweh was addressed to meas fol ows,
18 O figliuolo d' uomo, canta lo verso istrazievole sopra la moltitudine d' Egitto, e biàsimala lei e le figliuole delle genti robuste, alla terra ultima, con quelli che iscendono nello lago (cioè nello inferno).	18 'Son of man, lament over the throng of Egypt, for down she must go with the daughters of majesticnations to the depths of the underworld with those who sink into oblivion.
19 Quanto più bello sei? discendi, e dormi colli incirconcisi.	19 'Whom do you surpass in beauty? Down with you, make your bed with the uncircumcised,
20 Nel mezzo delli morti cadranno di coltello; lo coltello è dato; e tirarono lei e tutti i suoi popoli.	20 with those who have been slaughtered by the sword. (The sword has been given, it has been drawn.)She and al her throngs have fallen.
21 Parleranno a lei li potentissimi tra li robusti del mezzo dello inferno, li quali discesono colli suoi aiutatori, e incirconcisi dormirono, morti di coltello.	21 From the depths of Sheol, the mightiest heroes, her al ies, wil say to her, "They have come down,they have lain down, uncircumcised, slaughtered by the sword."
22 Assur è ivi, e tutta la sua moltitudine; nel circuito suo sono li sepolcri loro; tutti li morti, e quelli che caddono di coltello.	22 'Assyria is there and al her hordes, with their graves al round her; all of them slaughtered, fal en bythe sword;
23 Li sepolcri de' quali sono dati a' novissimi luoghi dello lago (cioè dello inferno); e la sua moltitudine fu fatta per lo circuito dello sepolcro suo; tutti li morti, cadenti di coltello, i quali aveano data la sua fortezza nella terra de' viventi.	23 their graves have been made in the deepest part of the abyss, and her hordes, with their graves alround her; all of them slaughtered, kil ed by the sword, who once spread terror through the world of the living.
24 Quivi è Elam, e tutta la sua moltitudine per lo giro del suo sepolcro; tutti questi morti, e cadenti di coltello, i quali discesono incirconcisi alla terra ultima; i quali puosono il loro ispaventamento nella terra de' viventi, e portarono la loro vergogna con quelli che discesono nello lago (cioè nello inferno).	24 'Elam is there and al her throng round her grave, al of them slaughtered, fallen by the sword; theyhave gone down uncircumcised to the depths of the underworld, who once spread terror throughout the world ofthe living. They have borne their shame with those who sink into oblivion.
25 Puosono lo suo letto nel mezzo delli morti in tutti li [suoi] popoli; nel suo circuito fue lo suo sepolcro; tutti questi incirconcisi morti, e li cadenti di coltello; diedono spaventamento nella terra de'viventi, e portarono la loro vergogna con quelli che discesono nello lago; e sono posti nel mezzo de' morti.	25 Among the slaughtered, they have put a bed for her, among her throng with their tombs round her, alof them uncircumcised, slaughtered by the sword for having spread terror throughout the world of the living.They have borne their shame with those who sink into oblivion. They have been put among the slaughtered.
26 Ivi è Mosoc (cioè una terra) e Tubal (cioè un' altra terra) e tutta la sua moltitudine; nel suo circuito puosono i loro sepolcri; tutti questi incirconcisi e morti e che cadeano di coltello, però che diedono la paura loro nella terra de' viventi; (cioè questo, che si dice ultima terra, si è la morte dello inferno; però che non si trova niuna terra poi; e questi che si dicono i morti e cadenti di coltello, per li morti s' intendono i morti della sua morte, e quelli che cadono di coltello s' intendono i morti di coltello).	26 'Meshech, Tubal are there and al her throng, with their graves round her, al of them uncircumcised,slaughtered by the sword for having spread terror through the world of the living.
27 E non dormiranno colli (morti) forti e colli cadenti e colli incirconcisi, i quali discesono nello inferno colle loro armi, e puosono i loro coltelli sotto i loro capi, e le loro iniquitadi sì furono nelle loro ossa, però che furono fatti ispavento de' forti nella terra de' viventi.	27 They do not lie with the heroes who fell long ago, those who went down to Sheol ful y armed, whohad their swords laid under their heads and their shields put under their bones, since the heroes inspired theworld of the living with terror.
28 Adunque e tu sarai ispezzato nel mezzo delli incirconcisi, e dormirai colli morti di coltello (che dormirono colli incirconcisi).	28 But you wil be broken with the uncircumcised and lie with those slaughtered by the sword.
29 Quivi è Idumea e li suoi re e tutti i suoi duchi, i quali sono posti collo suo esèrcito colli morti di coltello, e che dormirono colli incirconcisi e con quelli che discesono nello lago (cioè nello inferno).	29 'Edom is there, her kings and al her princes who, despite their valour, have been laid with thoseslaughtered by the sword. They lie with the uncircumcised, with those who sink into oblivion.
30 Quivi tutti li principi d' aquilone, e tutti li universi cacciatori, i quali furono (tutti) menati colli morti, tementi e confusi nella sua fortezza; i quali dormirono (colli) incirconcisi (e) colli morti di coltello, e portarono la loro confusione con quelli che discenderono nello lago (cioè nello inferno).	30 'Al the princes of the north and al the Sidonians are there, who have gone down with theslaughtered, because of the terror which their power inspired. Ashamed, uncircumcised, they lie among thoseslaughtered by the sword and bear their shame with those who sink into oblivion.
31 E Faraone li vide, e fu consolato sopra la universa moltitudine sua, la quale fue morta di coltello; Faraone e tutto lo suo esercito, disse lo Signore Iddio;	31 'Pharaoh wil see them and take comfort at the sight of al this throng slaughtered by the sword --Pharaoh and al his throng -- declares the Lord Yahweh.
32 però che diede lo suo spaventamento nella terra de' viventi; e dormie nel mezzo delli incirconcisi colli morti di coltello, Faracne e tutta la sua moltitudine, dice lo Signore Iddio.	32 For having spread terror through the world of the living, he wil be laid with the uncircumcised, withthose slaughtered by the sword, Pharaoh and al his throng -- declares the Lord Yahweh.'
