1 Nell' anno X, al X mese, a dì XI del mese, fu fatta la parola del Signore a me, e disse:	1 In the tenth year, in the tenth month, in the twelfth day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 O figliuolo d' uomo, poni la tua faccia in verso Faraone re d'Egitto, e profeterai di lui e d'Egitto tutte le cose.	2 Son of man, set thy face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt:
3 Parla, e dirai: questo dice lo Signore: ecco, io hoe a te, Faraone, re d' Egitto, grande dragone, il quale giaci nel mezzo de' tuoi fiumi, e dici: lo fiume è mio, e io feci me medesimo.	3 Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.
4 E io porrò lo freno nelle tue mascelle, e radunerò li pesci delli tuoi fiumi con le tue squame; (di Faraone dice, però che l'hae assomigliato allo drago; e lo drago è molto bello, e molto ha chiare le sue squame, e paiono come d'ariento; e però sempre si radunano li pesci a lui, quasi come all'ombra del sole; e sempre lo drago vuole l'acqua molto profonda, e così li pesci); e trarrotti del mezzo de' tuoi fiumi, e tutti li tuoi pesci s' accosteranno alle tue squame.	4 But I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out of the midst of thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy scales.
5 E gitterò te nel deserto, e tutti li pesci del tuo fiume; tu caderai sopra la faccia della terra, e non sarai ricclto nè radunato; io t'ho dato a divorare alle bestie della terra e alli uccelli (e alli pesci del mare).	5 And I will leave thee thrown into the wilderness, thee and all the fish of thy rivers: thou shalt fall upon the open fields; thou shalt not be brought together, nor gathered: I have given thee for meat to the beasts of the field and to the fowls of the heaven.
6 E sapranno tutti li abitatori d' Egitto, ch' io sono Iddio; però che fusti bastone di canna alla casa d' Israel.	6 And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the LORD, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.
7 Quando ti pigliarono con mano, e fusti tutto rotto, e tu lacerasti (tutti) i loro omeri; e spartitisi egli sopra te, fusti minuzzato, e lacerasti tutti li omeri loro.	7 When they took hold of thee by thy hand, thou didst break, and rend all their shoulder: and when they leaned upon thee, thou brakest, and madest all their loins to be at a stand.
8 Per questo dice lo Signore Iddio: ecco, io adducerò sopra te lo coltello, e ucciderò di te l'uomo e lo giumento.	8 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring a sword upon thee, and cut off man and beast out of thee.
9 E la terra d' Egitto sarà deserta, e in solitudine; e sapranno ch' io sono Iddio, però che dicesti: questo è mio fiume, e io l' hoe fatto.	9 And the land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste; and they shall know that I am the LORD: because he hath said, The river is mine, and I have made it.
10 E però, ecco, io a te e alli tuoi fiumi; e farò a te, terra d' Egitto, come scurità di dissipati, e distrutta di coltello, dalla torre di Siene insino al termine di Etiopia. (Siene sì è una terra d' Egitto).	10 Behold, therefore I am against thee, and against thy rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia.
11 Piede d'uomo non vi passerà, nè piede di giumento anderà per quella; e istarà XL anni, che non sarà abitata.	11 No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of beast shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years.
12 E darò la terra d'Egitto nel mezzo delle terre deserte, e le sue cittadi nel mezzo delle cittadi rivolte, e saranno desolate per XL anni; e dispergerò quelli d' Egitto tra le nazioni (stranie), e ventolerolli nelle terre.	12 And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be desolate forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.
13 Però che questo dice lo Signore Iddio : dopo la fine de' XL anni radunerò Egitto (e trarrollo) de' popoli tra' quali fu disperso.	13 Yet thus saith the Lord GOD; At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the people whither they were scattered:
14 E riducerò la prigionia d' Egitto, e collocherolli nella terra Fatures (onde egli uscirono), la quale terra è della loro nazione; e ivi saranno reami umili.	14 And I will bring again the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their habitation; and they shall be there a base kingdom.
15 Tra tutti li reami quello sarà umillimo, e non si leverà più sopra le nazioni; e minuirolli acciò che non comandino (nè signoreggino) alle genti.	15 It shall be the basest of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations.
16 E non saranno più alla casa d'Israel per fidanza, docendo la iniquità, acciò che fuggano, elli li sèguitino; e sapranno ch' io sono lo Signore Iddio.	16 And it shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, which bringeth their iniquity to remembrance, when they shall look after them: but they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
17 E avvenne nel XXVII anno, nel primo mese, nel primo dì, che disse lo Signore a me:	17 And it came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
18 O figliuolo d' uomo, Nabucodonosor, re di Babilonia, ha fatto servire la sua oste con grande [ser]virtute incontro a Tiro; ogni capo è fatto calvo, e ogni omero è pelato; e a lui non è renduto merito di Tiro, nè al suo esèrcito, per la servitudine che servio a me incontro a lei (cioè a Tiro).	18 Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyrus: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled: yet had he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus, for the service that he had served against it:
19 Però questo dice lo Signore Iddio: ecco io darò Nabucodonosor, re di Babilonia, nella terra di Egitto; e torrà la moltitudine sua (cioè d' Egitto), e ruberà le sue manubie, e torrà le sue vestimenta; e questo sarà a lui (cioè a Nabucodonosor re) la sua mercede, e allo suo esercito,	19 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army.
20 e all' opera colla quale m' ha servito incontro a lei; e io hoe dato a lui la terra d' Egitto, però che s' affaticò per me, dice lo Signore Iddio.	20 I have given him the land of Egypt for his labour wherewith he served against it, because they wrought for me, saith the Lord GOD.
21 In quello tempo pullulerà lo corno della casa d'Israel, e darò a te la bocca aperta nel mezzo di loro; e sapranno ch' io sono lo Signore Iddio.	21 In that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give thee the opening of the mouth in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
