1 In fine, per quelli che si commuteranno, testimonio di Asaf, salmo (per li Assirii ).	1 Unto the end. For those who will be changed. The testimony of Asaph. A Psalm.
2 Tu che governi Israel, intendi; il quale meni come pecora Iosef.	2 The One who reigns over Israel: Be attentive. For you lead Joseph like a sheep. The One who sits upon the cherubim: Shine forth
3 Tu che siedi sopra li cherubini, manifestati dinanzi a Efraim, Beniamin e Manasse.	3 in the presence of Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh. Awaken your power and draw near, so as to accomplish our salvation.
4 Vesti la tua potenza, e vieni acciò che ci facci salvi.	4 Convert us, O God. And reveal your face, and we will be saved.
5 Iddio, convertine, e mostraci la tua faccia; e saremo salvi.	5 O Lord, God of hosts, how long will you be angry over the prayer of your servant?
6 Signore Iddio delle virtù, insino quando ti adirerai sopra l'orazione del tuo servo?	6 How long will you feed us the bread of tears, and give us to drink a full measure of tears?
7 Tu ci pascerai col pane di lacrime, e dara'ci a bere le lacrime con mensura?	7 You have set us as a contradiction to our neighbors. And our enemies have ridiculed us.
8 Ha'ne poste in contraddizione a' vicini nostri; e li inimici nostri ci hanno biastemati.	8 O God of hosts, convert us. And reveal your face, and we will be saved.
9 Iddio delle virtù, convertici, e dimostraci la tua faccia; e saremo salvi.	9 You have transferred a vineyard from Egypt. You have cast out the Gentiles, and planted it.
10 Tu traducesti la vigna da Egitto; gittasti fuori le genti, e piantastila.	10 You were the leader of the journey in its sight. You planted its roots, and it filled the earth.
11 Fosti nel suo cospetto il guidatore; e piantasti le sue radici, ed empiette la terra.	11 Its shadow covered the hills, and its branches covered the cedars of God.
12 L'ombra sua ha coperto li monti; e le sue ramicelle li cedri di Dio.	12 It extended its new branches even to the sea, and its new seedlings even to the river.
13 Istese le sue rame insino al mare; e insino al fiume le sue branche.	13 So then, why have you destroyed its walls, so that all those who pass by the way gather its grapes?
14 Il per che hai distrutta la sua maceria, e tutti che vanno per la via la vendemmiano?	14 The wild boar of the forest has trampled it, and a single wild beast has laid waste to it.
15 Halla guastata il porco salvatico; e il superbo porco, mangiando, l' ha consumata.	15 Turn back, O God of hosts. Look down from heaven, and see, and visit this vineyard;
16 Iddio delle virtù, convèrtiti; risguarda dal cielo, e vedi, e visita questa vigna.	16 and complete what your right hand has planted, and look upon the son of man, whom you have confirmed for yourself.
17 E conferma quella, la quale ha piantata la tua destra; e (ponila) sopra il figliuolo dell' uomo, il quale hai confermato a te.	17 Whatever has been set on fire and dug under will perish at the rebuke of your countenance.
18 S' è accesa dal fuoco, e scavata; periranno dalla reprensione del tuo volto.	18 Let your hand be over the man on your right, and over the son of man, whom you have confirmed for yourself.
19 Sia fatta la tua mano sopra l'uomo della destra tua; e sopra il figliuolo dell' uomo, che a te confermasti.	19 For we do not depart from you, and you will revive us. And we will invoke your name.
20 E noi non ci partiremo da te; vivificherai noi, e invocheremo il nome tuo.	20 O Lord, God of hosts, convert us. And reveal your face, and we will be saved.
21 Signore Iddio delle virtù, convertine, e dimostraci la tua faccia; e saremo salvi.
