1 Poi vidi in cielo un altro prodigio, grande e maraviglioso: sette Angeli colle sette piaghe ultime, perchè con esse ha da compirsi l'ira di Dio.	1 Then I saw in heaven another sign, great and awe-inspiring: seven angels with the seven last plagues, for through them God's fury is accomplished.
2 E vidi come un mare di vetro misto di fuoco, e sul mare di vetro stavan quelli che avevan vinta la bestia e la sua imagine e il numero del suo nome. Essi, tenendo le arpe di Dio,	2 Then I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire. On the sea of glass were standing those who had won the victory over the beast and its image and the number that signified its name. They were holding God's harps,
3 cantavano il cantico di Mosè, servo di Dio, e il cantico dell'Agnello, e dicevano: Grandi e maravigliose sono le opere tue, o Signore Dio onnipotente! Giuste e vere son le tue vie, o Re dei secoli.	3 and they sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb: "Great and wonderful are your works, Lord God almighty. Just and true are your ways, O king of the nations.
4 Chi non ti tornerà, o Signore, e non glorificherà il tuo nome? Tu solo sei pio! E tutte le nazioni vorranno e si prostreranno dinanzi a te, perchè la tua giustizia è divenuta manifesta.	4 Who will not fear you, Lord, or glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All the nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed."
5 Dopo ciò mirai: ed ecco aprirsi in cielo il tempio del tabernacolo del testimonio,	5 After this I had another vision. The temple that is the heavenly tent of testimony opened,
6 ed uscire dal tempio sette Angeli con le sette piaghe: eran vestiti di lino puro e splendido, e cinti al petto di fasce d'oro.	6 and the seven angels with the seven plagues came out of the temple. They were dressed in clean white linen, with a gold sash around their chests.
7 E uno dei quattro animali diede ai sette Angeli sette calici d'oro pieni dell'ira di Dio, che vive nei secoli dei secoli.	7 One of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven gold bowls filled with the fury of God, who lives forever and ever.
8 E il tempio si empì di fumo per la maestà di Dio e per la sua potenza e nessuno poteva entrare nel tempio finché non fossero compiute le sette piaghe dei sette Angeli.	8 Then the temple became so filled with the smoke from God's glory and might that no one could enter it until the seven plagues of the seven angels had been accomplished.
