Isaia (اشعياء) 25

SMITH VAN DYKE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 يا رب انت الهي اعظمك. احمد اسمك لانك صنعت عجبا. مقاصدك منذ القديم امانة وصدق.	1 Yahweh, you are my God, I shall praise you to the heights, I shal praise your name; for you haveaccomplished marvels, plans long-conceived, faithful y, firmly.
2 لانك جعلت مدينة رجمة. قرية حصينة ردما. قصر اعاجم ان لا تكون مدينة. لا يبنى الى الابد.	2 For you have made the town a heap of stones, the fortified city a ruin. The foreigners' citadel is a cityno longer, it wil never be rebuilt.
3 لذلك يكرمك شعب قوي وتخاف منك قرية امم عتاة.	3 Hence mighty peoples wil honour you, the city of pitiless nations hold you in awe;
4 لانك كنت حصنا للمسكين حصنا للبائس في ضيقه ملجأ من السيل ظلا من الحرّ اذ كانت نفخة العتاة كسيل على حائط.	4 For you have been a refuge for the weak, a refuge for the needy in distress, a shelter from the storm,shade from the heat; for the breath of the pitiless is like a winter storm.
5 كحر في يبس تخفض ضجيج الاعاجم. كحر بظل غيم يذل غناء العتاة	5 Like heat in a dry land you calm the foreigners' tumult; as heat under the shadow of a cloud, so thesong of the pitiless dies away.
6 ويصنع رب الجنود لجميع الشعوب في هذا الجبل وليمة سمائن وليمة خمر على دردي سمائن ممخّة دردي مصفى.	6 On this mountain, for al peoples, Yahweh Sabaoth is preparing a banquet of rich food, a banquet offine wines, of succulent food, of well-strained wines.
7 ويفني في هذا الجبل وجه النقاب. النقاب الذي على كل الشعوب والغطاء المغطى به على كل الامم.	7 On this mountain, he has destroyed the veil which used to veil al peoples, the pal enveloping alnations;
8 يبلع الموت الى الابد ويمسح السيد الرب الدموع عن كل الوجوه وينزع عار شعبه عن كل الارض لان الرب قد تكلم	8 he has destroyed death for ever. Lord Yahweh has wiped away the tears from every cheek; he hastaken his people's shame away everywhere on earth, for Yahweh has spoken.
9 ويقال في ذلك اليوم هوذا هذا الهنا انتظرناه فخلّصنا. هذا هو الرب انتظرناه. نبتهج ونفرح بخلاصه.	9 And on that day, it wil be said, 'Look, this is our God, in him we put our hope that he should save us,this is Yahweh, we put our hope in him. Let us exult and rejoice since he has saved us.'
10 لان يد الرب تستقر على هذا الجبل ويداس موآب في مكانه كما يداس التبن في ماء المزبلة.	10 For Yahweh's hand will rest on this mountain, and Moab wil be trodden under his feet as straw istrodden into the dung-heap.
11 فيبسط يديه فيه كما يبسط السابح ليسبح فيضع كبرياءه مع مكايد يديه.	11 He may stretch his hands wide on the mountain like a swimmer stretching out his hands to swim. Buthe wil humble his pride despite what his hands may attempt.
12 وصرح ارتفاع اسوارك يخفضه يضعه يلصقه بالارض الى التراب	12 And the impregnable fortress of your walls, he has overthrown, laid low, flung to the ground, in thedust.
