SAGRADA BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 O Senhor disse a Moisés: "Dirás aos israelitas o seguinte:	1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,
2 quando um homem ou uma mulher fizer o voto de nazireu, separando-se para se consagrar ao Senhor,	2 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "If a man or a woman wishes to make a vow, the nazirite vow, to vowhimself to Yahweh,
3 abster-se-á de vinho e de bebida inebriante: não beberá vinagre de vinho, nem vinagre de uma outra bebida inebriante; não beberá suco de uva, não comerá nem uvas frescas, nem uvas secas.	3 he wil abstain from wine and fermented liquor, he will not drink vinegar derived from one or the other,he wil not drink grape-juice or eat grapes, be they fresh or dried.
4 Durante todo o tempo de seu nazireato não comerá produto algum da vinha, desde as sementes até as cascas de uva.	4 For the duration of his vow he wil eat nothing that comes from the vine, not even juice of unripe grapesor skins of grapes.
5 Durante todo o tempo de seu voto de nazireato, a navalha não passará pela sua cabeça, até que se completem os dias, em que vive separado em honra do Senhor. Será santo, e deixará crescer livremente os cabelos de sua cabeça.	5 As long as he is bound by his vow, no razor wil touch his head; until the time for which he has vowedhimself to Yahweh is completed, he remains consecrated and will let his hair grow freely.
6 Durante todo o tempo em que ele viver separado para o Senhor, não tocará em nenhum cadáver:	6 For the entire period of his vow to Yahweh, he wil not go near a corpse,
7 nem mesmo por seu pai, sua mãe, seu irmão ou sua irmã, que tiverem morrido, se contaminará, porque leva sobre sua cabeça o sinal de sua consagração ao seu Deus.	7 he wil not make himself unclean for his father or his mother, or his brother or his sister, should theydie, since on his head he carries his vow to his God.
8 Durante todo o tempo de seu nazireato ele é consagrado ao Senhor.	8 Throughout the whole of his vow he is a person consecrated to Yahweh.
9 Se alguém morrer de repente perto dele, e manchar assim a cabeça consagrada, ele rapará a sua cabeça no dia de sua purificação e o fará no sétimo dia.	9 "If anyone suddenly dies near him, making his vowed hair unclean, he wil shave his head on the dayhe is purified, he wil shave his head on the seventh day.
10 No oitavo dia trará ao sacerdote, à entrada da tenda de reunião, duas rolas ou dois pombinhos.	10 On the eighth day, he wil bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons to the priest, at the entrance tothe Tent of Meeting.
11 O sacerdote oferecerá um em sacrifício pelo pecado e outro em holocausto, e fará por ele a expiação do pecado que cometeu, manchando-se com a presença do morto. E consagrará naquele dia a sua cabeça.	11 The priest wil offer one as a sacrifice for sin, and the other as a burnt offering and wil then performfor the person the rite of expiation for the pollution which he has contracted from the corpse. He wil consecratehis head that same day;
12 Recomeçará os dias de seu nazireato para o Senhor e oferecerá um cordeiro de um ano em sacrifício de reparação: não se contam os dias precedentes em que seu nazireato foi manchado.	12 he wil vow himself to Yahweh for the period of his nazirate, and wil bring a male yearling lamb as asacrifice of reparation. The time already spent wil not count, since his hair had become unclean.
13 Eis a lei do nazireu: findo o seu nazireato, será conduzido à entrada da tenda de reunião,	13 "This is the ritual for the nazirite on the day when the period of his vow is completed. He will be led tothe entrance of the Tent of Meeting,
14 onde apresentará a sua oferta ao Senhor: um cordeiro de um ano, sem defeito, em holocausto; uma ovelha de um ano, sem defeito, em sacrifício pelo pecado, e um carneiro sem defeito em sacrifício pacífico,	14 bringing his offering to Yahweh: an unblemished male yearling lamb as a burnt offering, anunblemished yearling ewe lamb as a sacrifice for sin, an unblemished ram as a peace offering,
15 bem como uma cesta de pães sem fermento, bolos de farinha amassados com azeite, bolachas sem fermento untadas com óleo, com a oblação e as libações habituais.	15 and a basket of unleavened loaves made of fine flour mixed with oil, and of unleavened wafersspread with oil, with the cereal offerings and libations appropriate to them.
16 O sacerdote os apresentará ao Senhor, e oferecerá seu sacrifício pelo pecado e o seu holocausto.	16 The priest, having brought al this before Yahweh, wil offer the nazirite's sin sacrifice and burntoffering.
17 Oferecerá o carneiro ao Senhor em sacrifício pacífico, bem como a cesta de pães sem fermento, e fará sua oblação com sua libação.	17 The latter wil then offer the ram as a communion sacrifice with the basket of unleavened bread, andthe priest wil offer the accompanying cereal offering and libation.
18 Então será rapada ao nazireu sua cabeça consagrada à entrada da tenda de reunião; o sacerdote tomará os seus cabelos consagrados e os porá no fogo que está por baixo do sacrifício pacífico.	18 The nazirite wil then shave off his vowed hair at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and, taking thelocks of his vowed head, he wil put them in the fire of the communion sacrifice.
19 Colocará nas mãos do nazireu, depois de lhe ter sido rapada a cabeça consagrada, a espádua cozida do carneiro, um bolo sem fermento tirado da cesta e uma bolacha sem fermento.	19 The priest wil take the shoulder of the ram, as soon as it is cooked, with an unleavened cake fromthe basket, and an unleavened wafer, and put them into the hands of the nazirite once he has shaved off hishair.
20 O sacerdote os agitará diante do Senhor: é uma coisa santa que pertence ao sacerdote, como também o peito agitado e a coxa oferecida. Somente depois disso o nazireu poderá beber vinho.	20 With these he wil make the gesture of offering before Yahweh; as it is a holy thing, it reverts to thepriest, in addition to the forequarter that has been presented and the thigh that has been set aside. After this, thenazirite may drink wine.
21 Esta é a lei para aquele que fez voto de nazireato, e a oferta que ele deve fazer ao Senhor, além do que ele puder oferecer espontaneamente. Procederá conforme o voto que tiver feito, de acordo com a lei de seu nazireato."	21 "Such is the ritual for the nazirite. If, besides his hair, he has also vowed a personal offering toYahweh, he will (apart from anything else that his means al ow) fulfil the vow that he has made, in addition towhat the ritual prescribes for his hair." '
22 O Senhor disse a Moisés:	22 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,
23 "Dize a Aarão e seus filhos o seguinte: eis como abençoares os filhos de Israel:	23 'Speak to Aaron and his sons and say: "This is how you must bless the Israelites. You wil say:
24 O Senhor te abençoe e te guarde!	24 May Yahweh bless you and keep you.
25 O Senhor te mostre a sua face e conceda-te sua graça!	25 May Yahweh let his face shine on you and be gracious to you.
26 O Senhor volva o seu rosto para ti e te dê a paz!	26 May Yahweh show you his face and bring you peace."
27 E assim invocarão o meu nome sobre os filhos de Israel e eu os abençoarei".	27 This is how they must cal down my name on the Israelites, and then I shal bless them.'
