SAGRADA BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 O Senhor disse a Moisés:	1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:
2 "Toma a Aarão e seus filhos, as vestes, o óleo para a unção, o touro do sacrifício pelo pecado, os dois carneiros e a cesta de pães ázimos,	2 'Take Aaron and with him his sons, the vestments, the anointing oil, the bul for the sacrifice for sin, thetwo rams and the basket of unleavened bread.

4 Moisés fez o que lhe ordenou o Senhor, e a assembléia se reuniu à entrada da tenda de reunião.	4 Moses did as Yahweh ordered; the community gathered at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting,
5 Moisés disse então: "Eis o que o Senhor ordenou que se fizesse".	5 and Moses said to them, 'This is what Yahweh has ordered to be done.'
6 Fez aproximarem-se Aarão e seus filhos e os lavou com água.	6 He made Aaron and his sons come forward and washed them with water.
7 Vestiu Aarão com a túnica, a cintura e o manto; pôs sobre ele o efod, e cingiu-o com a cintura do efod, atando-o.	7 He then dressed him in the tunic, passed the waistband round his waist, vested him in the robe and putthe ephod on him. He then put the waistband of the ephod round his waist, fastening it to him.
8 Pôs-lhe em seguida o peitoral, ao qual fixou o urim e o tumim.	8 He put the breastplate on him, and placed the urim and thummim in it.
9 Cobriu-lhe a cabeça com a tiara, diante da qual colocou a lâmina de ouro, o santo diadema, como o Senhor lhe tinha ordenado.	9 He put the turban on his head, and on the front of the turban, the golden flower; this was the symbol ofholy consecration, which Yahweh had prescribed to Moses.
10 Tomou, além disso, o óleo da unção, ungiu com ele o tabernáculo e tudo o que continha, e os consagrou.	10 Moses then took the anointing oil and anointed the Dwel ing and everything inside it, to consecratethem.

14 Então mandou vir o touro do sacrifício pelo pecado, e Aarão e seus filhos puseram as mãos sobre a sua cabeça.	14 He then had the bull for the sacrifice for sin brought forward. Aaron and his sons laid their hands onthe victim's head
15 Moisés o imolou, tomou o sangue e, com o dedo, o pôs sobre os cornos do altar, purificando o altar; derramou o resto ao pé do altar e o consagrou, fazendo sobre ele a expiação.	15 and Moses slaughtered it. He then took the blood and with his finger put some of it on the horns on thecorners of the altar to purify the altar. 19 Foi imolado, e Moisés derramou seu sangue em todo o redor do altar.	19 and Moses slaughtered it. He poured its blood al around the altar.

22 Mandou que se aproximasse o outro carneiro, o carneiro de empossamento, sobre cuja cabeça Aarão e seus filhos impuseram as mãos.	22 He then had the other ram brought forward, the ram for the investiture sacrifice. Aaron and his sonslaid their hands on its head
23 Moisés o imolou, tomou seu sangue e o pôs na ponta da orelha direita de Aarão e nos polegares de sua mão direita e do seu pé direito.	23 and Moses slaughtered it. He took some of its blood and put it on the lobe of Aaron's right ear, on thethumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.
24 E mandou então que se aproximassem os filhos de Aarão: pôs-lhes o sangue na ponta da orelha direita, no polegar da mão direita e no hálux do pé direito; e derramou o resto do sangue em todo o redor do altar.	24 He then made Aaron's sons come forward and he put some of the blood on the lobes of their rightears, on the thumbs of their right hands and on the big toes of their right feet. Next, Moses poured the rest of theblood al around the altar.

This was the portionof the ram of investiture that reverted to Moses, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.

32 O que sobrar da carne e do pão, queimá-lo-eis no fogo.	32 What remains of the meat and bread you wil burn.
33 Não saireis da entrada da tenda de reunião durante sete dias, até se cumprirem os dias de vosso empossamento, o qual durará sete dias.	33 For seven days you wil not leave the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, until the time of your investitureis complete; for your investiture wil require seven days.
34 O que se fez hoje, prescreveu o Senhor que se faça novamente, em expiação por vós.	34 Yahweh has ordered us to do as we have done today to perform the rite of expiation for you;
35 Ficareis, pois, sete dias à entrada da tenda de reunião, dia e noite, e observareis as ordens do Senhor, para que não morrais. Esta é a ordem que recebi".	35 hence, for seven days, day and night, you wil remain at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting observingYahweh's ritual; do this, and you wil not incur death. For this was the order I received.'
36 Aarão e seus filhos fizeram tudo o que o Senhor lhes tinha ordenado por Moisés.	36 So Aaron and his sons did everything that Yahweh had ordered through Moses.
