SAGRADA BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Cântico das peregrinações. De Davi. Senhor, meu coração não se enche de orgulho, meu olhar não se levanta arrogante. Não procuro grandezas, nem coisas superiores a mim.	1 [Song of Ascents] Yahweh, my heart is not haughty, I do not set my sights too high. I have taken nopart in great affairs, in wonders beyond my scope.
2 Ao contrário, mantenho em calma e sossego a minha alma, tal como uma criança no seio materno, assim está minha alma em mim mesmo.	2 No, I hold myself in quiet and silence, like a little child in its mother's arms, like a little child, so I keepmyself.
3 Israel, põe tua esperança no Senhor, agora e para sempre.	3 Let Israel hope in Yahweh henceforth and for ever.
