LA SACRA BIBBIA	DOUAI-RHEIMS
1 Canto delle ascensioni. Molto mi hanno avversato sin dalla giovinezza, lo dica Israele	1 Blessed are all they that fear the Lord: that walk in his ways.
2 molto mi hanno avversato sin dalla giovinezza, ma non hanno prevalso su di me.	2 For thou shalt eat the labours of thy hands: blessed art thou, and it shall be well with thee.
3 Hanno arato sul mio dorso gli aratori, hanno fatto lunghi solchi.	3 Thy wife as a fruitful vine, on the sides of thy house.
4 Giusto è il Signore: ha reciso i lacci degli empi.	4 Behold, thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord.
5 Rimarranno confusi e volgeranno le spalle tutti coloro che odiano Sion.	5 May the Lord bless thee out of Sion: and mayest thou see the good things of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
6 Saranno come l'erba dei tetti, che prima di essere strappata è già secca;	6 And mayest thou see thy children's children, peace upon Israel.
7 non se ne riempie la mano colui che miete, né il grembo colui che raccoglie.
8 Non diranno i passanti: "Benedizione del Signore per voi! Vi benediciamo nel nome del Signore".
