1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.	1 Quando aperse il settimo sigillo, si fa' nel cielo un silenzio di circa mezz'ora;
2 And I saw seven Angels standing in the sight of God. And seven trumpets were given to them.	2 e vidi i sette Angeli che stavano dinanzi a Dio, e furon loro date sette trombe.
3 And another Angel approached, and he stood before the altar, holding a golden censer. And much incense was given to him, so that he might offer upon the golden altar, which is before the throne of God, the prayers of all the saints.	3 Poi venne un altro Angelo che si fermò davanti all'altare, con un turibolo d'oro in mano, e gli fu data gran quantità d'incenso, affinchè facesse l'offerta delle orazioni di tutti i santi sopra l'altare d'oro che è dinanzi al trono di Dio.
4 And the smoke of the incense of the prayers of the saints ascended, in the presence of God, from the hand of the Angel.	4 E dalla mano dell'Angelo il fumo degli incensi delle orazioni dei santi salì davanti a Dio.
5 And the Angel received the golden censer, and he filled it from the fire of the altar, and he cast it down upon the earth, and there were thunders and voices and lightnings and a great earthquake.	5 Poi l'Angelo prese il turibolo, lo riempì di fuoco dell'altare, e lo gettò sulla terra, e ne vennero tuoni e voci e folgori e gran terremoto.
6 And the seven Angels who hold the seven trumpets prepared themselves, in order to sound the trumpet.	6 E i sette Angeli che avevan le sette trombe si accinsero a sonare.
7 And the first Angel sounded the trumpet. And there came hail and fire, mixed with blood; and it was cast down upon the earth. And a third part of the earth was burned, and a third part of the trees was entirely burned up, and all the green plants were burned.	7 Il primo Angelo diè fiato alla tromba, e ne venne grandine e fuoco misto a sangue, e furon gettati sopra la terra, e la terza parte della terra fu arsa, e la terza parte degli alberi fu arsa, e fu arsa tutta l'erba verdeggiante.
8 And the second Angel sounded the trumpet. And something like a great mountain, burning with fire, was cast down into the sea. And a third part of the sea became like blood.	8 E il secondo Angolo diè fiato alla tromba: e una specie di grande montagna di fuoco ardente fu gettata nel mare, e la terza parte del mare diventò sangue;
9 And a third part of the creatures that were living in the sea died. And a third part of the ships were destroyed.	9 e morì la terza parte delle creature viventi nel mare, e la terza parte delle navi fu distrutta.
10 And the third Angel sounded the trumpet. And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch. And it fell upon a third part of the rivers and upon the sources of water.	10 E il terzo Angelo diè fiato alla tromba; e dal cielo cadde una stella grande, ardente come fiaccola, e cadde nella terza parte dei fiumi e delle fonti.
11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood. And a third part of the waters were turned into wormwood. And many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter.	11 La stella si chiama Assenzio. E la terza parte delle acque diventò assenzio, e molti uomini morirono a causa delle acque divenute amaro.
12 And the fourth Angel sounded the trumpet. And a third part of the sun, and a third part of the moon, and a third part of the stars were struck, in such a way that a third part of them was obscured. And a third part of the day did not shine, and similarly the night.	12 E il quarto Angelo diè fiato alla tromba: e fu colpita la terza parte del sole, la terza parte della luna e la terza parte delle stelle, di modo che la terza parto degli astri fu oscurata e la terza parte del giorno non splendeva, così pure della notte.
13 And I saw, and I heard the voice of a lone eagle flying through the midst of heaven, calling with a great voice: “Woe, Woe, Woe, to the inhabitants of the earth, from the remaining voices of the three Angels, who will soon sound the trumpet!”	13 E guardai, e sentii il grido dì un'aquila che volava in mezzo al cielo e diceva a gran voce: Guai, guai, guai verranno agli abitanti della terra dalle altre voci dei tre Angeli che stan per suonare la tromba.
