Ezekiel 26

1 And it happened that, in the eleventh year, on the first of the month, the word of the Lord came to me, saying:	1 Am ersten Tag des (zwölften) Monats im elften Jahr erging das Wort des Herrn an mich:
2 “Son of man, because Tyre has said about Jerusalem: ‘It is Well! The gates of the peoples have been broken! She has been turned toward me. I will be filled. She will be deserted!’	2 Menschensohn, weil Tyrus über Jerusalem sagte: Ha, das Tor zu den Völkern ist zerbrochen; alles fällt mir zu, jetzt kann ich mich mästen; denn die Stadt ist verwüstet!,
3 because of this, thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, O Tyre, and I will cause many nations to rise up against you, just as the waves of the sea rise up.	3 darum - so spricht Gott, der Herr: Jetzt gehe ich gegen dich vor, Tyrus, und lasse viele Völker gegen dich anbranden, wie das Meer seine Wogen anbranden lässt.
4 And they will break apart the walls of Tyre, and they will destroy its towers. And I will scrape her dust from her, and I will make her into the barest rock.	4 Sie zerstören die Mauern von Tyrus und seine Türme reißen sie ein. Sein Erdreich schwemme ich weg, zum nackten Felsen mache ich Tyrus.
5 She will be a drying place for nets from the midst of the sea. For I have spoken, says the Lord God. And she will be a spoil for the Gentiles.	5 Ein Platz zum Trocknen der Netze wird es mitten im Meer; denn ich habe gesprochen - Spruch Gottes, des Herrn. Es wird eine Beute der Völker.
6 Likewise, her daughters who are in the field will be slain by the sword. And they shall know that I am the Lord.	6 Seine Töchter auf dem Festland werden vom Schwert erschlagen. Dann wird man erkennen, dass ich der Herr bin.
7 For thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will lead into Tyre: Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, a king among kings, from the north, with horses, and chariots, and horsemen, and companies, and a great people.	7 Denn so spricht Gott, der Herr: Nebukadnezzar, den König von Babel, den König der Könige, führe ich von Norden gegen Tyrus heran, mit Rossen und Wagen und Reitern, mit einem großen Aufgebot, einem gewaltigen Heer.
8 Your daughters who are in the field, he will kill with the sword. And he will surround you with fortifications, and he will put together a rampart on all sides. And he will lift up a shield against you.	8 Deine Töchter auf dem Festland wird er mit dem Schwert erschlagen. Er baut dir gegenüber einen Belagerungswall, schüttet einen Damm gegen dich auf und errichtet ein Schilddach.
9 And he will combine moveable shelters and battering rams before your walls, and he will destroy your towers with his armaments.	9 Seinen Sturmbock setzt er an zum Stoß gegen deine Mauern, deine Türme reißt er mit Brecheisen ein.
10 He will cover you with the inundation of his horses and with their dust. Your walls will shake at the sound of horsemen and wheels and chariots, when they will have entered your gates, as if through the entrance of a city that has been broken open.	10 Eine Staubwolke wird dich bedecken, so viele Pferde hat er. Unter dem Dröhnen der Reiter und Räder und Wagen erzittern deine Mauern, wenn er durch deine Tore eindringt, wie man eindringt in eine Stadt voller Breschen.
11 With the hoofs of his horses, he will trample all your streets. He will cut down your people with the sword, and your noble statues will fall to the ground.	11 Mit den Hufen seiner Pferde zerstampft er all deine Straßen. Mit dem Schwert erschlägt er dein Volk und deine mächtigen Säulen stürzt er zu Boden.
12 They will lay waste to your wealth. They will despoil your businesses. And they will tear down your walls and overturn your eminent houses. And they will put your stones and your timber and your dust into the midst of the waters.	12 Sie plündern deinen Besitz und rauben dir deine Waren. Deine Mauern reißen sie ein. Sie zerstören die prächtigen Bauten. Deine Steine, deine Balken, deinen ganzen Schutt werfen sie mitten ins Meer.
13 And I will cause the multitude of your songs to cease. And the sound of your stringed instruments will no longer be heard.	13 So mache ich deinen lärmenden Liedern ein Ende, vom Klang deiner Zithern ist nichts mehr zu hören.
14 And I will make you like the barest rock; you will be a drying place for nets. And you will no longer be built up. For I have spoken, says the Lord God.”	14 Zum nackten Felsen mache ich dich. Du wirst ein Platz zum Trocknen der Netze. Man baut dich nie wieder auf; denn ich, der Herr, habe gesprochen - Spruch Gottes, des Herrn.
15 Thus says the Lord God to Tyre: “Will not the islands shake at the sound of your ruin and at the groans of your slain, when they will have been cut down in your midst?	15 So spricht Gott, der Herr, zu Tyrus: Ist es nicht so, dass die Inseln erzittern beim Getöse deines Sturzes, beim Gestöhn der zu Tode Getroffenen, beim mörderischen Blutbad in deiner Mitte?
16 And all the leaders of the sea will descend from their thrones. And they will cast aside their outer garments and their colorful clothing, and they will be clothed in stupor. They will sit on the ground, and they will wonder with astonishment at your sudden downfall.	16 Dann steigen alle Fürsten der Küstenländer von ihren Thronen herab, sie legen ihre Gewänder ab und ziehen ihre bunt gewebten Kleider aus. Sie hüllen sich in Schrecken und setzen sich auf den Boden; immer wieder erfasst sie ein Zittern und sie sind entsetzt über dich.
17 And taking up a lamentation over you, they will say to you: ‘How could you have perished, you who live in the sea, the famous city that was strong in the sea, with your inhabitants, of whom the whole world was in dread?’	17 Sie stimmen die Totenklage über dich an und sagen zu dir: Ach, wie bist du zerstört, du Bewohnerin der Meere, ruhmreiche Stadt, einst eine Macht auf dem Meer, du und deine Bewohner, die alle ihre Nachbarn in Schrecken versetzten.
18 Now the ships will be stupefied, in the day of your terror. And the islands of the sea will be disturbed, because no one goes out from you.	18 Nun aber beben die Inseln seit dem Tag deines Sturzes. Bestürzt sind die Inseln des Meeres über dein Ende.
19 For thus says the Lord God: When I will have made you a desolate city, like the cities that are uninhabited, and when I will have led the abyss over you, and many waters will have covered you,	19 Denn so spricht Gott, der Herr: Ich mache dich zur verwüsteten Stadt; dann wirst du wie die Städte sein, die nicht mehr bewohnt sind. Die Urflut lasse ich steigen, sodass gewaltige Wassermassen dich zudecken.
20 and when I will have dragged you down with those who descend into the pit to the everlasting people, and when I will have assembled you in the lowest parts of the earth, like the desolate places of antiquity, with those who have been brought down into the pit, so that you will be uninhabited, and moreover, when I will have given glory to the land of the living:	20 Ich stoße dich zu denen hinab, die ins Grab gesunken sind, zum Volk der Vorzeit. Ich weise dir einen Wohnsitz zu in den Tiefen der Erde, in der ewigen Einöde bei denen, die ins Grab gesunken sind. Denn du sollst nicht mehr bewohnt sein und dich nicht mehr erheben im Land der Lebenden.
21 I will reduce you to nothing, and you shall not be, and if you are sought, you will no longer be found, in perpetuity, says the Lord God.”	21 Zu einem Bild des Schreckens mache ich dich. Du bist nicht mehr da, und wer dich sucht, wird dich in Ewigkeit nicht finden - Spruch Gottes, des Herrn.
