1 Chorus to Groom: "What will you see in the Sulamitess, other than choruses of encampments?"1 επιστρεφε επιστρεφε η σουλαμιτις επιστρεφε επιστρεφε και οψομεθα εν σοι τι οψεσθε εν τη σουλαμιτιδι η ερχομενη ως χοροι των παρεμβολων
2 Chorus to Bride: "How beautiful are your footsteps in shoes, O daughter of a ruler! The joints of your thighs are like jewels, which have been fabricated by the hand of an artist."2 τι ωραιωθησαν διαβηματα σου εν υποδημασιν θυγατερ ναδαβ ρυθμοι μηρων σου ομοιοι ορμισκοις εργω χειρων τεχνιτου
3 "Your navel is a round bowl, never lacking in curvature. Your abdomen is like a bundle of wheat, surrounded with lilies."3 ομφαλος σου κρατηρ τορευτος μη υστερουμενος κραμα κοιλια σου θιμωνια σιτου πεφραγμενη εν κρινοις
4 "Your two breasts are like two young twin does."4 δυο μαστοι σου ως δυο νεβροι διδυμοι δορκαδος
5 "Your neck is like a tower of ivory. Your eyes like the fish ponds at Heshbon, which are at the entrance to the daughter of the multitude. Your nose is like the tower of Lebanon, which looks out toward Damascus."5 τραχηλος σου ως πυργος ελεφαντινος οφθαλμοι σου ως λιμναι εν εσεβων εν πυλαις θυγατρος πολλων μυκτηρ σου ως πυργος του λιβανου σκοπευων προσωπον δαμασκου
6 "Your head is like Carmel, and the hairs of your head are like the purple of the king, bound into pleats."6 κεφαλη σου επι σε ως καρμηλος και πλοκιον κεφαλης σου ως πορφυρα βασιλευς δεδεμενος εν παραδρομαις
7 "Most beloved one, how beautiful you are, and how graceful in delights!"7 τι ωραιωθης και τι ηδυνθης αγαπη εν τρυφαις σου
8 "Your stature is comparable to the palm tree, and your breasts to clusters of grapes."8 τουτο μεγεθος σου ωμοιωθη τω φοινικι και οι μαστοι σου τοις βοτρυσιν
9 Groom: "I said, I will ascend to the palm tree, and take hold of its fruit. And your breasts will be like clusters of grapes on the vine. And the fragrance of your mouth will be like apples."9 ειπα αναβησομαι εν τω φοινικι κρατησω των υψεων αυτου και εσονται δη μαστοι σου ως βοτρυες της αμπελου και οσμη ρινος σου ως μηλα
10 Bride: "Your throat is like the finest wine: wine worthy for my beloved to drink, and for his lips and teeth to contemplate."10 και λαρυγξ σου ως οινος ο αγαθος πορευομενος τω αδελφιδω μου εις ευθυθητα ικανουμενος χειλεσιν μου και οδουσιν
11 "I am for my beloved, and his turning is to me."11 εγω τω αδελφιδω μου και επ' εμε η επιστροφη αυτου
12 "Approach, my beloved. Let us go out into the field; let us linger in the villages."12 ελθε αδελφιδε μου εξελθωμεν εις αγρον αυλισθωμεν εν κωμαις
13 "The mandrakes yield their fragrance. At our gates is every fruit. The new and the old, my beloved, I have kept for you."13 ορθρισωμεν εις αμπελωνας ιδωμεν ει ηνθησεν η αμπελος ηνθησεν ο κυπρισμος ηνθησαν αι ροαι εκει δωσω τους μαστους μου σοι
14 οι μανδραγοραι εδωκαν οσμην και επι θυραις ημων παντα ακροδρυα νεα προς παλαια αδελφιδε μου ετηρησα σοι
