1 Canticum. Psalmus. Asaph.	1 [Song Psalm Of Asaph] God, do not remain silent, do not stay quiet or unmoved, God!
2 Deus, ne quiescas, ne taceas neque compescaris, Deus,	2 See how your enemies are in uproar, how those who hate you are rearing their heads.
3 quoniam ecce inimici tui fremuerunt, et, qui oderunt te, extulerunt caput.	3 They are laying plans against your people, conspiring against those you cherish;
4 Adversus populum tuum malignaverunt consilium et cogitaverunt adversus eos, quos abscondisti tibi.	4 they say, 'Come, let us annihilate them as a nation, the name of Israel shall be remembered no more!'
5 Dixerunt: “ Venite, et disperdamus eos de gente, et non memoretur nomen Israel ultra! ”.	5 They conspire with a single mind, they conclude an al iance against you,
6 Quoniam cogitaverunt unanimiter, adversum te testamentum statuerunt:	6 the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagrites,

15 Sicut ignis, qui comburit silvam, et sicut flamma devorans montes,	15 so drive them away with your tempest, by your whirlwind fill them with terror.
16 ita persequeris illos in tempestate tua et in procella tua turbabis eos.	16 Shame written al over their faces, let them seek your name, Yahweh!
17 Imple facies eorum ignominia, et quaerent nomen tuum, Domine.	17 Dishonour and terror be always theirs, death also and destruction.
18 Erubescant et conturbentur in saeculum saeculi et confundantur et pereant;	18 Let them know that you alone bear the name of Yahweh, Most High over al the earth.
19 et cognoscant quia nomen tibi Dominus: tu solus Altissimus super omnem terram.
