Hebrews 13

1 Continue to love each other like brothers,	1 La carità della fraternità rimanga con voi.
2 and remember always to welcome strangers, for by doing this, some people have entertained angelswithout knowing it.	2 E non dimenticate l'albergare; chè per albergare alquanti piacquero a Dio, e gli angioli ricevettono albergo.
3 Keep in mind those who are in prison, as though you were in prison with them; and those who arebeing badly treated, since you too are in the body.	3 Ricordivi delli impregionati, sì come voi foste incatenati (e laboranti) con essi; e ricordatevi degli affaticati, si come di voi medesimi, permanendo nel corpo (di Cristo).
4 Marriage must be honoured by al , and marriages must be kept undefiled, because the sexuallyimmoral and adulterers wil come under God's judgement.	4 E sia in tutti onorevole congiungimento, e compagnia (netta e) non corrotta; chè Dio giudicarà li fornicatori e li adulteri.
5 Put avarice out of your lives and be content with whatever you have; God himself has said: I shal notfail you or desert you,	5 Siano i vostri costumi senza avarizia, e siate contenti delle vostre presenti cose; però che si dice: io non ti abbandonarò, e non mi partirò da te.
6 and so we can say with confidence: With the Lord on my side, I fear nothing: what can human beingsdo to me?	6 Sì che sicuramente diciamo: il Signore è mio aiutatore, e non temerò cosa (alcuna) che mi faccia alcuno.
7 Remember your leaders, who preached the word of God to you, and as you reflect on the outcome oftheir lives, take their faith as your model.	7 Ricordatevi de' vostri apostoli, li quali parlarono a voi la parola di Dio; guardando l'uscita della conversazione, seguitate loro fede.
8 Jesus Christ is the same today as he was yesterday and as he wil be for ever.	8 Chè Iesù Cristo fu ieri e oggi, e sarà per tutti li secoli.
9 Do not be led astray by al sorts of strange doctrines: it is better to rely on grace for inner strength thanon food, which has done no good to those who concentrate on it.	9 Non vi lasciate menare con ammaestramenti svariati e strani; chè egli è ottima cosa (e buona) fermare il suo cuore nella grazia, e non ne' mangiari, li quali non fecero prode a coloro che andorono con essi.
10 We have our own altar from which those who serve the Tent have no right to eat.	10 Noi avemo l'altare, del quale non hanno potestà di manducare quelli che (molto) servono al tabernacolo.
11 The bodies of the animals whose blood is taken into the sanctuary by the high priest for the rite ofexpiation are burnt outside the camp,	11 Li corpi di quelli animali, il sangue delli quali è offerto per il pontefice in SANCTA SANCTORUM per il peccato, son bruciati fuora nelli campi.
12 and so Jesus too suffered outside the gate to sanctify the people with his own blood.	12 Per la qual cosa Iesù Cristo fu passionato (e crocifisso) fuori la porta, per santificare il suo popolo col sangue suo.
13 Let us go to him, then, outside the camp, and bear his humiliation.	13 Adunque usciamo fuori delli campi a lui, portando li suoi improperii (e li suoi disonori).
14 There is no permanent city for us here; we are looking for the one which is yet to be.	14 Chè noi non avemo in questo mondo città permanente, anzi addimandiamo quella che dee essere (nell' altro mondo).
15 Through him, let us offer God an unending sacrifice of praise, the fruit of the lips of those whoacknowledge his name.	15 Adunque per lui offeriamo sempre offerta di laude a Dio, cioè il frutto delle nostre labbra, confessando il suo nome.
16 Keep doing good works and sharing your resources, for these are the kinds of sacrifice that pleaseGod.	16 Non vi dimenticate la beneficenza e la comunione (delle vostre cose); imperò che con queste tali offerte si può guadagnare Dio.
17 Obey your leaders and give way to them; they watch over your souls because they must give anaccount of them; make this a joy for them to do, and not a grief -- you yourselves would be the losers.	17 Obbedite alli vostri priori maggiori, e siate sottoposti a loro; chè egli vegliano sì come possano rendere ragione per le vostre anime; onde portatevi in tal guisa, ch' egli faccino il vostro fatto con allegrezza, e non piangendo; chè questo non si conviene a voi.
18 Pray for us; we are sure that our own conscience is clear and we are certainly determined to behavehonourably in everything we do.	18 Pregate per noi; chè noi ci confidiamo di tutti coloro che vogliono ben conversare.
19 I ask you very particularly to pray that I may come back to you all the sooner.	19 Ma pregovi che vi brighiate di bene fare; chè quanto più tosto il farete, sarete reguiderdonati.
20 I pray that the God of peace, who brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd ofthe sheep, by the blood that sealed an eternal covenant,	20 Ma Dio di pace, il quale mandò di morte il grande pastore delic pecore col sangue del testamento eternale, cioè il nostro Signore Iesù Cristo,
21 may prepare you to do his wil in every kind of good action; effecting in us al whatever is acceptableto himself through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.	21 quelli acconci voi in ogni bene, sì che facciate la sua volontà; facendo egli in voi quello che piaccia a lui medesimo per Iesù Cristo, al quale sia onore e gloria in tutti li secoli de' secoli. Amen.
22 I urge you, brothers, to take these words of encouragement kindly; that is why I have written to youbriefly.	22 Priego voi, fratelli, che sofferiate la parola di solazzo; chè per vostra pace (e consolazione) scrissi questa epistola a voi.
23 I want you to know that our brother Timothy has been set free. If he arrives in time, he will be with mewhen I see you.	23 Conoscete il nostro fratello Timoteo, mandato a voi; il quale quanto più presto verrà, così tosto vederò voi.
24 Greetings to al your leaders and to al God's holy people. God's holy people in Italy send yougreetings.	24 Salutate tutti li vostri propositi (e li vostri maggiori) e tutti li santi. Salutano voi tutti li fratelli d'Italia.
