Psalms 35

NEW JERUSALEM	Biblija Hrvatski
1 [Of David] Accuse my accusers, Yahweh, attack my attackers.	1 Davidov. Optuži, Jahve, tužitelje moje i napadni one koji mene napadaju!
2 Grasp your buckler and shield, up, and help me.	2 Stavi oklop, uzmi štit svoj i ustani meni u pomoć!
3 Brandish spear and pike to confront my pursuers, give me the assurance, 'I am your Saviour.'	3 Zavitlaj kopljem i presretni progonitelje moje, reci mojoj duši: »Ja sam tvoje spasenje.«
4 Shame and humiliation on those who are out to kil me! Defeat and repulse in dismay on those whoplot my downfal .	4 Nek’ se smetu i postide koji život moj traže, nek’ uzmaknu i nek’ se posrame koji mi propast snuju!
5 May they be like chaff before the wind, with the angel of Yahweh to chase them.	5 Nek’ budu k’o pljeva na vjetru kad ih anđeo Jahvin potjera!
6 May their way be dark and slippery, with the angel of Yahweh to hound them.	6 Mračni i skliski bili im putovi kad ih anđeo Jahvin bude gonio!
7 Unprovoked they laid their snare for me, unprovoked dug a trap to kill me.	7 Bez razloga napeše mi mrežu, bez razloga grob duši mojoj iskopaše.
8 Ruin comes upon them unawares; the snare they have laid wil catch them, and into their own trapthey will fal .	8 Propast će ih stići iznenada, u mrežu koju napeše sami će se uhvatiti, past će u jamu što je iskopaše!
9 Then I shal delight in Yahweh, rejoice that he has saved me.	9 A moja će duša klicati u Jahvi, radovat će se u spasenju njegovu.
10 My very bones wil al exclaim, Yahweh, who can compare with you in rescuing the poor from theoppressor; the needy from the exploiter?	10 Sve će kosti moje govoriti: Tko je, Jahve, poput tebe koji ubogog spašavaš od silnika, jadnika i siromaha od pljačkaša?
11 False witnesses come forward against me asking me questions I cannot answer, they cross-examineme,	11 Ustadoše svjedoci opaki: pitaju me za ono što ne znam.
12 repay my kindness with cruelty, make my life barren.	12 Vraćaju mi zlo za dobro, duša moja zapada u osamu.
13 But I, when they were il , had worn sackcloth, and mortified myself with fasting, praying ever anew inmy heart,	13 U bolesti njihovoj nosio sam kostrijet, dušu svoju postom morio, i molitva mi se u krilo vraćala.
14 as if for a friend or brother; I had wandered restless, as if mourning a mother, so bowed had I been insorrow.	14 Kao za prijateljem, za bratom – obilažah tužan; od žalosti se pogurih kao onaj što za majkom žali.
15 When I stumble they gather in glee, gather around me; strangers I never even knew tear me apartincessantly.	15 A sada kad posrnuh ja, oni se raduju, skupiše se protiv mene da udare iznenada, i bez prestanka oni me razdiru.
16 If I fal they surround me, grinding their teeth at me.	16 Ruglom na ruglo iskušavaju me i zubima škripaju na mene.
17 How much longer, Lord, will you look on? Rescue me from their onslaughts, from young lions rescuethe one life that I have.	17 O Jahve, dokle ćeš gledati? Istrgni mi dušu nasrtajima njihovim, otmi lavovima jedino dobro moje!
18 I wil give you thanks in the great assembly praise you where the people gather.	18 Zahvalit ću ti u velikom zboru, slavit ću te među pukom brojnim.
19 Let not my lying enemies gloat over me; those who hate me unprovoked look askance at me.	19 Nek’ se ne raduju nada mnom dušmani nepravedni, nek’ ne namiguju očima oni koji me nizašto mrze!
20 They have no greeting of peace to the peace-loving people of the land; they think up deceptivespeeches.	20 Jer oni ne misle o miru, već spletke snuju protiv mirnih u zemlji.
21 Their mouths wide open to accuse me, they say, 'Come on now, we saw you.'	21 Razvaljuju svoja usta na me i govore: »Ha, ha, vidjesmo očima svojim!«
22 You saw it, Yahweh, do not stay silent; Lord, do not stand aloof from me.	22 Ti sve vidiš, o Jahve! Nemoj šutjeti! Gospode, od mene se ne udaljuj!
23 Up, awake, to my defence, my God and my Lord, to my cause.	23 Preni se, ustani da me obraniš, Bože moj, Gospode, vodi parnicu moju!
24 In your saving justice give judgement for me, Yahweh my God, and do not let them gloat over me.	24 Po svojoj me pravdi sudi, Jahve, Bože moj, nek’ se ne raduju nada mnom!
25 Do not let them think, 'Just as we hoped,' nor, 'Now we have swal owed him up.'	25 Nek’ ne misle u srcu: »Ispunila nam se želja!« Nek’ ne reknu: »Progutali smo ga!«
26 Shame and dismay on them al who gloat over my misfortunes. Let al who profit at my expense becovered with shame and disgrace.	26 Nek’ se postide i posrame svi zajedno koji se nesreći mojoj raduju! Nek’ se odjenu stidom i sramotom oni koji se podižu na me!
27 But let al who delight in my uprightness shout for joy and gladness; let them constantly say, 'Great isYahweh, who delights to see his servant in peace.'	27 Nek’ radosno kliču kojima je pravo moje na srcu i nek’ svagda govore: »Velik je Jahve! Milo mu je spasenje sluge njegova!«
28 And my tongue shal recount your saving justice, al day long sing your praise.	28 A moj će jezik kazivati pravdu tvoju i hvalu tebi navijeke.
