1 Orders of the sons of Aaron: Sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, Ithamar.	1 E de' figliuoli di Aaron queste sono le divisioni. I figliuoli di Aaron: Nadab e Abiu, ed Eleazar e Itamar.
2 Nadab and Abihu died in their father's lifetime leaving no children, so Eleazar and Ithamar fil ed theoffice of priest.	2 E morirono senza figliuoli Nadab e Abiu, prima che il padre loro; ed Eleazar e Itamar fecero l'officio del sacerdozio.
3 With Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, David allocated themaccording to the classification of their duties.	3 E divisegli David, cioè Sadoc de' figliuoli di Eleazar, e Aimelec de' figliuoli di Itamar, secondo la vice sua e il ministerio.
4 Since the sons of Eleazar were found to have more headmen than the sons of Ithamar, they allocatedsixteen heads of families to the sons of Eleazar and eight heads of families to the sons of Ithamar.	4 E trovaronsi molto più i figliuoli di Eleazar uomini principi, che i figliuoli di Itamar. 6 The levitical scribe Shemaiah son of Nethanel, recorded them in the presence of the king, the leaders,Zadok the priest, Ahimelech son of Abiathar and the heads of the priestly and levitical families, so that twofamilies were selected for Eleazar for each one selected for Ithamar.	6 E descrissegli Semeia figliuolo di Natanael, scriba Levita, dinanzi al re e principi, e Sadoc sacerdote, e Aimelec figliuolo di Abiatar, e dai prìncipi delle famiglie sacerdotali e Levitiche; una casa, la quale era sopra tutti, fu quella di Eleazar; e l'altra, la quale avea sotto sè tutte l' altre, fu quella d' Itamar.
7 The first lot fel to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,	7 E uscie la prima sorte a Ioiarib, la seconda a Iedei,
