1 At the turn of the year, at the time when kings go campaigning, Joab led out the troops and, havingravaged the Ammonites' territory, proceeded to lay siege to Rabbah. David, however, remained in Jerusalem.Joab reduced Rabbah and dismantled it.	1 E dopo uno anno, in quello tempo che i re sogliono andare alla battaglia, Ioah congregò lo esercito e la fortezza della milizia, e disfece per guasto la terra de' figliuoli d' Ammon; e andò e assediò Rabba; e David era in Ierusalem, quando Ioab percosse Rabba, e disfecela.
2 David took the crown off Milcom's head and found that it weighed a talent of gold, and in it was set aprecious stone which went on David's head instead. He too was a son of Rapha.	6 E un' altra battaglia fu fatta in Get, nella quale fue uno uomo lunghissimo, il quale avea sei dita, cioè in tutto il suo corpo ventiquattro; il quale era della generazione di Rafa.
7 When he defied Israel, Jonathan son of Shimea, brother of David cut him down.	7 Questo biastemò Israel; e ucciselo Ionatan figliuolo di Samaa fratello di David. E questi sono i figliuoli di Rafa in Get, i quali caddero sotto le mani di David e de' servi suoi.
8 These men were sons of Rapha in Gath and fel at the hands of David and his guards.
