1 Hear this word, women of the mountain of Samaria, you cows of Bashan, You who oppress the weak and abuse the needy; Who say to your lords, "Bring drink for us!"	1 Слушайте слово сие, телицы Васанские, которые на горе Самарийской, вы, притесняющие бедных, угнетающие нищих, говорящие господам своим: 'подавай, и мы будем пить!'
2 The Lord GOD has sworn by his holiness: Truly the days are coming upon you When they shall drag you away with hooks, the last of you with fishhooks;	2 Клялся Господь Бог святостью Своею, что вот, придут на вас дни, когда повлекут вас крюками и остальных ваших удами.
3 You shall go out through the breached walls each by the most direct way, And you shall be cast into the mire, says the LORD.	3 И сквозь проломы стен выйдете, каждая, как случится, и бросите все убранство чертогов, говорит Господь.
4 Come to Bethel and sin, to Gilgal, and sin the more; Each morning bring your sacrifices, every third day, your tithes;	4 Идите в Вефиль--и грешите, в Галгал--и умножайте преступления; приносите жертвы ваши каждое утро, десятины ваши хотя через каждые три дня.
5 Burn leavened food as a thanksgiving sacrifice, proclaim publicly your freewill offerings, For so you love to do, O men of Israel, says the Lord GOD.	5 Приносите в жертву благодарения квасное, провозглашайте о добровольных приношениях ваших и разглашайте о них, ибо это вы любите, сыны Израилевы, говорит Господь Бог.
6 Though I have made your teeth clean of food in all your cities, and have made bread scarce in all your dwellings, Yet you returned not to me, says the LORD.	6 За то и дал Я вам голые зубы во всех городах ваших и недостаток хлеба во всех селениях ваших; но вы не обратились ко Мне, говорит Господь.
7 Though I also withheld the rain from you when the harvest was still three months away; I sent rain upon one city but not upon another; One field was watered by rain, but another without rain dried up;	7 И удерживал от вас дождь за три месяца до жатвы; проливал дождь на один город, а на другой город не проливал дождя; один участок напояем был дождем, а другой, не окропленный дождем, засыхал.
8 Though two or three cities staggered to one city for water that did not quench their thirst; Yet you returned not to me, says the LORD.	8 И сходились два-три города в один город, чтобы напиться воды, и не могли досыта напиться; но и тогда вы не обратились ко Мне, говорит Господь.
9 I struck you with blight and searing wind; your many gardens and vineyards, your fig trees and olive trees the locust devoured; Yet you returned not to me, says the LORD.	9 Я поражал вас ржою и блеклостью хлеба; множество садов ваших и виноградников ваших, и смоковниц ваших, и маслин ваших пожирала гусеница, --и при всем том вы не обратились ко Мне, говорит Господь.
10 I sent upon you a pestilence like that of Egypt, and with the sword I slew your young men; Your horses I let be captured, to your nostrils I brought the stench of your camps; Yet you returned not to me, says the LORD.	10 Посылал Я на вас моровую язву, подобную Египетской, убивал мечом юношей ваших, отводя коней в плен, так что смрад от станов ваших поднимался в ноздри ваши; и при всем том вы не обратились ко Мне, говорит Господь.
11 I brought upon you such upheaval as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah: you were like a brand plucked from the fire; Yet you returned not to me, says the LORD.	11 Производил Я среди вас разрушения, как разрушил Бог Содом и Гоморру, и вы были выхвачены, как головня из огня, --и при всем том вы не обратились ко Мне, говорит Господь.
12 So now I will deal with you in my own way, O Israel! and since I will deal thus with you, prepare to meet your God, O Israel:	12 Посему так поступлю Я с тобою, Израиль; и как Я так поступлю с тобою, то приготовься к сретению Бога твоего, Израиль,
13 Him who formed the mountains, and created the wind, and declares to man his thoughts; Who made the dawn and the darkness, and strides upon the heights of the earth: The LORD, the God of hosts by name.	13 ибо вот Он, Который образует горы, и творит ветер, и объявляет человеку намерения его, утренний свет обращает в мрак, и шествует превыше земли; Господь Бог Саваоф--имя Ему.
