Genesis 46

1 And Israel took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beer-sheba, and offered sacrifices unto the God of his father Isaac.	1 Partió Israel con todas sus pertenencias y llegó a Berseba, donde hizo sacrificios al Dios de su padre Isaac.
2 And God spake unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I.	2 Y dijo Dios a Israel en visión nocturna: «¡Jacob, Jacob!» - «Heme aquí», respondió. -
3 And he said, I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:	3 «Yo soy Dios, el Dios de tu padre; no temas bajar a Egipto, porque allí te haré una gran nación.
4 I will go down with thee into Egypt; and I will also surely bring thee up again: and Joseph shall put his hand upon thine eyes.	4 Y bajaré contigo a Egipto y yo mismo te subiré también. José te cerrará los ojos.»
5 And Jacob rose up from Beer-sheba: and the sons of Israel carried Jacob their father, and their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to carry him.	5 Jacob partió de Berseba y los hijos de Israel montaron a su padre Jacob, así como a sus pequeños y mujeres, en las carretas que había mandado Faraón para trasportarle.
6 And they took their cattle, and their goods, which they had gotten in the land of Canaan, and came into Egypt, Jacob, and all his seed with him:	6 También tomaron sus ganados y la hacienda lograda en Canaán, y fueron a Egipto, Jacob y toda su descendencia con él.
7 His sons, and his sons' sons with him, his daughters, and his sons' daughters, and all his seed brought he with him into Egypt.	7 Sus hijos y nietos, sus hijas y nietas: a toda su descendencia se la llevó consigo a Egipto.
8 And these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt, Jacob and his sons: Reuben, Jacob's firstborn.	8 Estos son los nombres de los hijos de Israel que entraron en Egipto: Jacob y sus hijos. El primogénito de Jacob: Rubén,
9 And the sons of Reuben; Hanoch, and Phallu, and Hezron, and Carmi.	9 y los hijos de Rubén: Henoc, Pallú, Jesrón y Karmí;
10 And the sons of Simeon; Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman.	10 los hijos de Simeón: Yemuel, Yamín, Ohad, Yakín, Sójar y Saúl, hijo de la cananea;
11 And the sons of Levi; Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.	11 los hijos de Leví: Guersón, Quehat y Merarí;
12 And the sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah, and Pharez, and Zerah: but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan. And the sons of Pharez were Hezron and Hamul.	12 los hijos de Judá: Er, Onán, Selá, Peres y Zéraj, (¡pero Er y Onán ya habían muerto en Canaán!) y los hijos de Peres: Jesrón y Jamul;
13 And the sons of Issachar; Tola, and Phuvah, and Job, and Shimron.	13 los hijos de Isacar: Tolá, Puvá, Yasub y Simrón;
14 And the sons of Zebulun; Sered, and Elon, and Jahleel.	14 los hijos de Zabulón: Séred, Elón, Yajleel.
15 These be the sons of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob in Padan-aram, with his daughter Dinah: all the souls of his sons and his daughters were thirty and three.	15 Estos fueron los hijos que Lía había dado a Jacob en Paddán Aram, y también su hija Dina. Sus hijos y sus hijas eran en total 33 personas.
16 And the sons of Gad; Ziphion, and Haggi, Shuni, and Ezbon, Eri, and Arodi, and Areli.	16 Los hijos de Gad: Sefón, Jagguí, Suní, Esbón, Erí, Arodí y Arelí.
17 And the sons of Asher; Jimnah, and Ishuah, and Isui, and Beriah, and Serah their sister: and the sons of Beriah; Heber, and Malchiel.	17 Los hijos de Aser: Yimná, Yisvá, Yisví, Beriá y Séraj, hermana de ellos. Hijos de Beriá: Jéber y Malkiel.
18 These are the sons of Zilpah, whom Laban gave to Leah his daughter, and these she bare unto Jacob, even sixteen souls.	18 Estos son los hijos de Zilpá, la que Labán diera a su hija Lía; ella engendró para Jacob estas dieciséis personas.
19 The sons of Rachel Jacob's wife; Joseph, and Benjamin.	19 Los hijos de Raquel, mujer de Jacob: José y Benjamín.
20 And unto Joseph in the land of Egypt were born Manasseh and Ephraim, which Asenath the daughter of Poti-pherah priest of On bare unto him.	20 A José le nacieron en Egipto Manasés y Efraím, de Asnat, hija de Poti Fera, sacerdote de On.
21 And the sons of Benjamin were Belah, and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera, and Naaman, Ehi, and Rosh, Muppim, and Huppim, and Ard.	21 Los hijos de Benjamín: Belá, Béker, Asbel, Guerá, Naamán, Ejí, Ros, Muppim, Juppim y Ard.
22 These are the sons of Rachel, which were born to Jacob: all the souls were fourteen.	22 Estos son los hijos que Raquel dio a Jacob. En total catorce personas.
23 And the sons of Dan; Hushim.	23 Los hijos de Dan: Jusim.
24 And the sons of Naphtali; Jahzeel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shillem.	24 Los hijos de Neftalí: Yajseel, Guní, Yéser y Sillem.
25 These are the sons of Bilhah, which Laban gave unto Rachel his daughter, and she bare these unto Jacob: all the souls were seven.	25 Estos son los hijos de Bilhá, la que Labán diera a su hija Raquel, y que aquélla engendró para Jacob: en total siete personas.
26 All the souls that came with Jacob into Egypt, which came out of his loins, besides Jacob's sons' wives, all the souls were threescore and six;	26 Todas las personas que entraron con Jacob en Egipto, nacidas de sus entrañas, - salvo las mujeres de los hijos de Jacob - hacían un total de 66 personas.
27 And the sons of Joseph, which were born him in Egypt, were two souls: all the souls of the house of Jacob, which came into Egypt, were threescore and ten.	27 Los hijos de José, que le habían nacido en Egipto, eran dos. Todas las personas de la casa de Jacob que entraron en Egipto eran setenta.
28 And he sent Judah before him unto Joseph, to direct his face unto Goshen; and they came into the land of Goshen.	28 Israel mandó a Judá por delante a donde José, para que éste le precediera a Gosen: y llegaron al país de Gosen.
29 And Joseph made ready his chariot, and went up to meet Israel his father, to Goshen, and presented himself unto him; and he fell on his neck, and wept on his neck a good while.	29 José engancho su carroza y subió a Gosen, al encuentro de su padre Israel; y viéndole se echó a su cuello y estúvose llorando sobre su cuello.
30 And Israel said unto Joseph, Now let me die, since I have seen thy face, because thou art yet alive.	30 Y dijo Israel a José: «Ahora ya puedo morir, después de haber visto tu rostro, pues que tú vives todavía.»
31 And Joseph said unto his brethren, and unto his father's house, I will go up, and shew Pharaoh, and say unto him, My brethren, and my father's house, which were in the land of Canaan, are come unto me;	31 José dijo a sus hermanos y a la familia de su padre: «Voy a subir a avisar a Faraón y decirle: “Han venido a mí mis hermanos y la casa de mi padre que estaban en Canaán.
32 And the men are shepherds, for their trade hath been to feed cattle; and they have brought their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have.	32 Son pastores de ovejas, pues siempre fueron ganaderos, y, han traído ovejas, vacadas y todo lo suyo.»
33 And it shall come to pass, when Pharaoh shall call you, and shall say, What is your occupation?	33 Así, cuando os llame Faraón y os diga. “¿Cuál es vuestro oficio?”, 34 le decís: “Ganaderos hemos sido tus siervos desde la mocedad hasta ahora, lo mismo que nuestros padres.” De esta suerte os quedaréis en el país de Gosen.» Porque los egipcios detestan a todos los pastores de ovejas.
34 That ye shall say, Thy servants' trade hath been about cattle from our youth even until now, both we, and also our fathers: that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd is an abomination unto the Egyptians.
