JERUSALEM	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 "Que votre coeur ne se trouble pas! vous croyez en Dieu, croyez aussi en moi.	1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 Dans la maison de mon Père, il y a de nombreuses demeures; sinon, je vous l'aurais dit; je vais vouspréparer une place.	2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 Et quand je serai allé et que je vous aurai préparé une place, à nouveau je viendrai et je vous prendraiprès de moi, afin que, là où je suis, vous aussi, vous soyez.	3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 Et du lieu où je vais, vous savez le chemin."	4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
5 Thomas lui dit: "Seigneur, nous ne savons pas où tu vas. Comment saurions-nous le chemin?"	5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6 Jésus lui dit: "Je suis le Chemin, la Vérité et la Vie. Nul ne vient au Père que par moi.	6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
7 Si vous me connaissez, vous connaîtrez aussi mon Père; dès à présent vous le connaissez et vousl'avez vu."	7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
8 Philippe lui dit: "Seigneur, montre-nous le Père et cela nous suffit."	8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9 Jésus lui dit: "Voilà si longtemps que je suis avec vous, et tu ne me connais pas, Philippe? Qui m'a vua vu le Père. Comment peux-tu dire: Montre-nous le Père!?	9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
10 Ne crois-tu pas que je suis dans le Père et que le Père est en moi? Les paroles que je vous dis, je neles dis pas de moi-même: mais le Père demeurant en moi fait ses oeuvres.	10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
11 Croyez-m'en! je suis dans le Père et le Père est en moi. Croyez du moins à cause des oeuvres mêmes.	11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
12 En vérité, en vérité, je vous le dis, celui qui croit en moi fera, lui aussi, les oeuvres que je fais; et ilen fera même de plus grandes, parce que je vais vers le Père.	12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
13 Et tout ce que vous demanderez en mon nom, je le ferai, afin que le Père soit glorifié dans le Fils.	13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 Si vous me demandez quelque chose en mon nom, je le ferai.	14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
15 Si vous m'aimez, vous garderez mes commandements;	15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16 et je prierai le Père et il vous donnera un autre Paraclet, pour qu'il soit avec vous à jamais,	16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 l'Esprit de Vérité, que le monde ne peut pas recevoir, parce qu'il ne le voit pas ni ne le reconnaît.Vous, vous le connaissez, parce qu'il demeure auprès de vous.	17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 Je ne vous laisserai pas orphelins. Je viendrai vers vous.	18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
19 Encore un peu de temps et le monde ne me verra plus. Mais vous, vous verrez que je vis et vousaussi, vous vivrez.	19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
20 Ce jour-là, vous reconnaîtrez que je suis en mon Père et vous en moi et moi en vous.	20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
21 Celui qui a mes commandements et qui les garde, c'est celui-là qui m'aime; or celui qui m'aime seraaimé de mon Père; et je l'aimerai et je me manifesterai à lui."	21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
22 Judas - pas l'Iscariote - lui dit: "Seigneur, et qu'est-il advenu, que tu doives te manifester à nous etnon pas au monde?"	22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Jésus lui répondit: "Si quelqu'un m'aime, il gardera ma parole, et mon Père l'aimera et nousviendrons vers lui et nous nous ferons une demeure chez lui.	23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
24 Celui qui ne m'aime pas ne garde pas mes paroles; et la parole que vous entendez n'est pas de moi,mais du Père qui m'a envoyé.	24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
25 Je vous ai dit cela tandis que je demeurais près de vous.	25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
26 Mais le Paraclet, l'Esprit Saint, que le Père enverra en mon nom, lui, vous enseignera tout et vousrappellera tout ce que je vous ai dit.	26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
27 Je vous laisse la paix; c'est ma paix que je vous donne; je ne vous la donne pas comme le monde ladonne. Que votre coeur ne se trouble ni ne s'effraie.	27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
28 Vous avez entendu que je vous ai dit: Je m'en vais et je reviendrai vers vous. Si vous m'aimiez, vousvous réjouiriez de ce que je vais vers le Père, parce que le Père est plus grand que moi.	28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
29 Je vous le dis maintenant avant que cela n'arrive, pour qu'au moment où cela arrivera, vous croyiez.	29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
30 Je ne m'entretiendrai plus beaucoup avec vous, car il vient, le Prince de ce monde; sur moi il n'aaucun pouvoir,	30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
31 mais il faut que le monde reconnaisse que j'aime le Père et que je fais comme le Père m'a commandé.Levez-vous! Partons d'ici!	31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
