1 Salmo di Davide, dato al capo de’ Musici, in su Neghinot QUANDO io grido, rispondimi, o Dio della mia giustizia; Quando io sono stato distretto, tu mi hai messo in largo; Abbi pietà di me, ed esaudisci la mia orazione.	1 For the leader; with stringed instruments. A psalm of David.
2 O uomini principali, infino a quando sarà la mia gloria in vituperio? Infino a quando amerete vanità, E andrete dietro a menzogna? Sela.	2 Answer when I call, my saving God. In my troubles, you cleared a way; show me favor; hear my prayer.
3 Or sappiate che il Signore si ha eletto un pietoso; Il Signore mi esaudirà quando io griderò a lui.	3 How long will you people mock my honor, love what is worthless, chase after lies? Selah
4 Tremate, e non peccate; Ragionate nel cuor vostro, sopra i vostri letti, e restate. Sela.	4 Know that the LORD works wonders for the faithful; the LORD hears when I call out.
5 Sacrificate sacrificii di giustizia, E confidatevi nel Signore	5 Tremble and do not sin; upon your beds ponder in silence.
6 Molti dicono: Chi ci farà veder del bene? O Signore, alza la luce del tuo volto sopra noi.	6 Offer fitting sacrifice and trust in the LORD.
7 Tu mi hai data maggiore allegrezza nel cuore, che non hanno quelli Nel tempo che il lor frumento, e il lor mosto è moltiplicato.	7 Many say, "May we see better times! LORD, show us the light of your face!" Selah
8 Io mi coricherò in pace, ed in pace ancora dormirò; Perciocchè tu solo, Signore, mi fai abitare sicuramente	8 But you have given my heart more joy than they have when grain and wine abound.
	9 In peace I shall both lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me secure.
