Zacarías 12

EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS	DOUAI-RHEIMS
1 Vaticinio. Palabra del Señor sobre Israel. Oráculo del Señor que desplegó los cielos, cimentó la tierra y formó el espíritu del hombre en su interior.	1 The burden of the word of the Lord upon Israel. Thus saith the Lord, who stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundations of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man in him :
2 Yo haré de Jerusalén una copa de vértigo para todos los pueblos de alrededor, y lo mismo pasará con Judá cuando asedien a Jerusalén.	2 Behold I will make Jerusalem a lintel of surfeiting to all the people round about: and Juda also shall be in the siege against Jerusalem.
3 Aquel día, yo haré de Jerusalén una piedra pesada para todos los pueblos: todos los que intenten levantarla se desgarrarán gravemente. Y se reunirán contra ella todas las naciones de la tierra.	3 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone to all people: all that shall lift it up shall be rent and torn, and all the kingdoms of the earth shall be gathered together against her.
4 Aquel día –oráculo del Señor– yo aturdiré a todos los caballos y enloqueceré a sus jinetes; abriré mis ojos sobre la casa de Judá y encegueceré a todos los pueblos.	4 In that day, saith the Lord, I will strike every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open my eyes upon the house of Juda, and will strike every horse of the nations with blindness.
5 Y los jefes de Judá dirán en su corazón: «La fuerza para los habitantes de Jerusalén está en el Señor de los ejércitos, su Dios».	5 And the governors of Juda shall say in their heart: Let the inhabitants of Jerusalem be strengthened for me in the Lord of hosts, their God.
6 Aquel día, yo haré a los jefes de Judá semejantes a un brasero encendido bajo la leña, a una antorcha encendida en las gavillas. Ellos consumirán a derecha e izquierda a todos los pueblos de alrededor, pero Jerusalén quedará instalada en el mismo lugar.	6 In that day I will make the governors of Juda like a furnace of fire amongst wood, and as a firebrand amongst hay: and they shall devour all the people round about, to the right hand, and to the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place in Jerusalem.
7 El Señor salvará primero las carpas de Judá, a fin de que la gloria de la casa de David y la gloria de los habitantes de Jerusalén no se eleven en detrimento de Judá.	7 And the Lord shall save the tabernacles of Juda, as in the beginning: that the house of David, and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, may not boast and magnify themselves against Juda.
8 Aquel día, el Señor escudará a los habitantes de Jerusalén: el más débil entre ellos será como David, y la casa de David será como Dios, como el Angel del Señor al frente de ellos.	8 In that day shall the Lord protect the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and he that hath offended among them in that day shall be as David: and the house of David, as that of God, as an angel of the Lord in their sight.
9 Aquel día, yo me pondré a destruir todas las naciones que vendrán contra Jerusalén.	9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
10 Derramaré sobre la casa de David y sobre los habitantes de Jerusalén un espíritu de gracia y de súplica; y ellos mirarán hacia mí, En cuanto al que ellos traspasaron, se lamentarán por él como por un hijo único y lo llorarán amargamente como se llora al primogénito.	10 And I will pour out upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace, and of prayers: and they shall look upon me, whom they have pierced: and they shall mourn for him as one mourneth for an only son, and they shall grieve over him, as the manner is to grieve for the death of the firstborn.
11 Aquel día, habrá un gran lamento en Jerusalén, como el lamento de Hadad Rimón, en la llanura de Meguido.	11 In that day there shall be a great lamentation in Jerusalem like the lamentation of Adadremmon in the plain of Mageddon.
12 El país se lamentará, familia por familia: la familia de la casa de David por su lado, y sus mujeres por su lado; la familia de la casa de Natán por su lado, y sus mujeres por su lado;	12 And the land shall mourn: families and families apart: the families of the house of David apart, and their women apart:
13 la familia de la casa de Leví por su lado, y sus mujeres por su lado; la familia de la casa de Semei por su lado, y sus mujeres por su lado;	13 The families of the house of Nathan apart, and their women apart: the families of the house of Levi apart, and their women apart: the families of Semei apart, and their women apart.
14 todas las familias restantes, cada una por su lado, y sus mujeres por su lado.	14 All the rest of the families, families and families apart, and their women apart.
