Salmos 132

EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Canto de peregrinación. Acuérdate, Señor, en favor de David, de todos sus desvelos,	1 LORD, remember David, and all his afflictions:
2 del juramento que prestó al Señor, del voto que hizo al Fuerte de Jacob:	2 How he sware unto the LORD, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;
3 «No entraré bajo el techo de mi casa ni me acostaré en mi propio lecho;	3 Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;
4 no daré descanso a mis ojos ni reposo a mis párpados,	4 I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,
5 hasta que encuentre un lugar para el Señor, una Morada para el Fuerte de Jacob».	5 Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.
6 Sí, oímos hablar del Arca de Efratá, y la encontramos en los campos de Jaar.	6 Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.
7 ¡Entremos en su Morada, postrémonos ante el estrado de sus pies!	7 We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.
8 ¡Levántate, Señor, entra en el lugar de tu Reposo, tú y tu Arca poderosa!	8 Arise, O LORD, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.
9 Que tus sacerdotes se revistan de justicia y tus fieles griten de alegría.	9 Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.
10 Por amor a David, tu servidor, no rechaces a tu Ungido.	10 For thy servant David's sake turn not away the face of thine anointed.
11 El Señor hizo un juramento a David, una firme promesa, de la que no se retractará: «Yo pondré sobre tu trono a uno de tus descendientes.	11 The LORD hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.
12 Si tus descendientes observan mi alianza y los preceptos que yo les enseñaré, también se sentarán sus hijos en tu trono para siempre».	12 If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.
13 Porque el Señor eligió a Sión, y la deseó para que fuera su Morada.	13 For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.
14 «Este es mi Reposo para siempre; aquí habitaré, porque lo he deseado.	14 This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.
15 Yo lo bendeciré con abundantes provisiones y saciaré de pan a sus pobres;	15 I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.
16 revestiré a los sacerdotes con la salvación, y sus fieles gritarán de alegría.	16 I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
17 Allí haré germinar el poder de David: yo preparé una lámpara para mi ungido.	17 There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.
18 Cubriré de vergüenza a sus enemigos, y su insignia real florecerá sobre él».	18 His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.
