1 Corintios 6

1 Cuando alguno de vosotros tiene un pleito con otro, ¿se atreve a llevar la causa ante los injustos, y no ante los santos?	1 How can any one of you with a case against another dare to bring it to the unjust for judgment instead of to the holy ones?
2 ¿No sabéis que los santos han de juzgar al mundo? Y si vosotros vais a juzgar al mundo, ¿no sois acaso dignos de juzgar esas naderías?	2 Do you not know that the holy ones will judge the world? If the world is to be judged by you, are you unqualified for the lowest law courts?
3 ¿No sabéis que hemos de juzgar a los ángeles? Y ¡cómo no las cosas de esta vida!	3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? Then why not everyday matters?
4 Y cuando tenéis pleitos de este género ¡tomáis como jueces a los que la Iglesia tiene en nada!	4 If, therefore, you have courts for everyday matters, do you seat as judges people of no standing in the church?
5 Para vuestra vergüenza lo digo. ¿No hay entre vosotros algún sabio que pueda juzgar entre los hermanos?	5 I say this to shame you. Can it be that there is not one among you wise enough to be able to settle a case between brothers?
6 Sino que vais a pleitear hermano contra hermano, ¡y eso, ante infieles!	6 But rather brother goes to court against brother, and that before unbelievers?
7 De todos modos, ya es un fallo en vosotros que haya pleitos entre vosotros. ¿Por qué no preferís soportar la injusticia? ¿Por qué no dejaros más bien despojar?	7 Now indeed (then) it is, in any case, a failure on your part that you have lawsuits against one another. Why not rather put up with injustice? Why not rather let yourselves be cheated?
8 ¡Al contrario! ¡Sois vosotros los que obráis la injusticia y despojáis a los demás! ¡Y esto, a hermanos!	8 Instead, you inflict injustice and cheat, and this to brothers.
9 ¿No sabéis acaso que los injustos no heredarán el Reino de Dios? ¡No os engañéis! Ni los impuros, ni los idólatras, ni los adúlteros, ni los afeminados, ni los homosexuales,	9 Do you not know that the unjust will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators nor idolaters nor adulterers nor boy prostitutes nor sodomites
10 ni los ladrones, ni los avaros, ni los borrachos, ni los ultrajadores, ni los rapaces heredarán el Reino de Dios.	10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God.
11 Y tales fuisteis algunos de vosotros. Pero habéis sido lavados, habéis sido santificados, habéis sido justificados en el nombre del Señor Jesucristo y en el Espíritu de nuestro Dios.	11 That is what some of you used to be; but now you have had yourselves washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.
12 «Todo me es lícito»; mas no todo me conviene. «Todo me es lícito»; mas ¡no me dejaré dominar por nada!	12 "Everything is lawful for me," but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is lawful for me," but I will not let myself be dominated by anything.
13 La comida para el vientre y el vientre para la comida. Mas lo uno y lo otro destruirá Dios. Pero el cuerpo no es para la fornicación, sino para el Señor, y el Señor para el cuerpo.	13 "Food for the stomach and the stomach for food," but God will do away with both the one and the other. The body, however, is not for immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body;
14 Y Dios, que resucitó al Señor, nos resucitará también a nosotros mediante su poder.	14 God raised the Lord and will also raise us by his power.
15 ¿No sabéis que vuestros cuerpos son miembros de Cristo? Y ¿había de tomar yo los miembros de Cristo para hacerlos miembros de prostituta? ¡De ningún modo!	15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take Christ's members and make them the members of a prostitute? Of course not!
16 ¿O no sabéis que quien se une a la prostituta se hace un solo cuerpo con ella? Pues está dicho: Los dos se harán una sola carne.	16 (Or) do you not know that anyone who joins himself to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For "the two," it says, "will become one flesh."
17 Mas el que se une al Señor, se hace un solo espíritu con él.	17 But whoever is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him.
18 ¡Huid de la fornicación! Todo pecado que comete el hombre queda fuera de su cuerpo; mas el que fornica, peca contra su propio cuerpo.	18 Avoid immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the immoral person sins against his own body.
19 ¿O no sabéis que vuestro cuerpo es santuario del Espíritu Santo, que está en vosotros y habéis recibido de Dios, y que no os pertenecéis?	19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?
20 ¡Habéis sido bien comprados! Glorificad, por tanto, a Dios en vuestro cuerpo.	20 For you have been purchased at a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body.
