Isaías 61

BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 El espíritu del Señor Yahveh está sobre mí, por cuanto que me ha ungido Yahveh. A anunciar la buena nueva a los pobres me ha enviado, a vendar los corazones rotos; a pregonar a los cautivos la liberación, y a los reclusos la libertad;	1 The spirit of Lord Yahweh is on me for Yahweh has anointed me. He has sent me to bring the news tothe afflicted, to soothe the broken-hearted,
2 a pregonar año de gracia de Yahveh, día de venganza de nuestro Dios; para consolar a todos los que lloran,	2 to proclaim liberty to captives, release to those in prison, to proclaim a year of favour from Yahweh anda day of vengeance for our God, to comfort all who mourn
3 para darles diadema en vez de ceniza, aceite de gozo en vez de vestido de luto, alabanza en vez de espíritu abatido. Se les llamará robles de justicia, plantación de Yahveh para manifestar su gloria.	3 (to give to Zion's mourners), to give them for ashes a garland, for mourning-dress, the oil of gladness,for despondency, festal attire; and they wil be cal ed 'terebinths of saving justice', planted by Yahweh to glorifyhim.
4 Edificarán las ruinas seculares, los lugares de antiguo desolados levantarán, y restaurarán las ciudades en ruinas, los lugares por siempre desolados.	4 They wil rebuild the ancient ruins, they wil raise what has long lain waste, they wil restore the ruinedcities, al that has lain waste for ages past.
5 Vendrán extranjeros y apacentarán vuestros rebaños, e hijos de extraños serán vuestros labradores y viñadores.	5 Strangers wil come forward to feed your flocks, foreigners be your ploughmen and vinedressers;
6 Y vosotros seréis llamados «sacerdotes de Yahveh», «ministros de nuestro Dios» se os llamará. La riqueza de las naciones comeréis y en su gloria les sucederéis.	6 but you will be cal ed 'priests of Yahweh' and be addressed as 'ministers of our God'. You will feed onthe wealth of nations, you wil supplant them in their glory.
7 Por cuanto su vergüenza había sido doble, y en lugar de afrenta, gritos de regocijo fueron su herencia, por eso en su propia tierra heredarán el doble, y tendrán ellos alegría eterna.	7 To make up for your shame, you wil receive double; instead of disgrace, shouts of joy wil be their lot;yes, they wil have a double portion in their country and everlasting joy wil be theirs.
8 Pues yo, Yahveh, amo el derecho y aborrezco la rapiña y el crimen. Les daré el salario de su trabajo lealmente, y alianza eterna pactaré con ellos.	8 For I am Yahweh: I love fair judgement, I hate robbery and wrong-doing, and I shal reward themfaithful y and make an everlasting covenant with them.
9 Será conocida en las naciones su raza y sus vástagos entre los pueblos; todos los que los vean reconocerán que son raza bendita de Yahveh.	9 Their race wil be famous throughout the nations and their offspring throughout the peoples. All whosee them wil admit that they are a race whom Yahweh has blessed.
10 «Con gozo me gozaré en Yahveh, exulta mi alma en mi Dios, porque me ha revestido de ropas de salvación, en manto de justicia me ha envuelto como el esposo se pone una diadema, como la novia se adorna con aderezos.	10 I exult for joy in Yahweh, my soul rejoices in my God, for he has clothed me in garments of salvation,he has wrapped me in a cloak of saving justice, like a bridegroom wearing his garland, like a bride adorned inher jewels.
11 Porque, como una tierra hace germinar plantas y como un huerto produce su simiente, así el Señor Yahveh hace germinar la justicia y la alabanza en presencia de todas las naciones».	11 For as the earth sends up its shoots and a garden makes seeds sprout, so Lord Yahweh makessaving justice and praise spring up in the sight of al nations.
