1 Lamentación. De David. La que cantó a Yahveh a propósito del benjaminita Kus.	1 [Lament Of David Which he sang to Yahweh about Cush the Benjaminite] Yahweh my God, I takerefuge in you, save me from al my pursuers and rescue me,
2 Yahveh, Dios mío, a ti me acojo, sálvame de todos mis perseguidores, líbrame;	2 or he wil savage me like a lion, carry me off with no one to rescue me.
3 ¡que no arrebate como un león mi vida el que desgarra, sin que nadie libre!	3 Yahweh my God, if I have done this: if injustice has stained my hands,
4 Yahveh, Dios mío, si algo de esto hice, si hay en mis manos injusticia,	4 if I have repaid my al y with treachery or spared one who attacked me unprovoked,
5 si a mi bienhechor con mal he respondido si he perdonado al opresor injusto,	5 may an enemy hunt me down and catch me, may he trample my life into the ground and crush my vitalparts into the dust.Pause
6 ¡que el enemigo me persiga y me alcance, estrelle mi vida contra el suelo, y tire mis entrañas por el polvo! Pausa.	6 Arise, Yahweh, in your anger, rise up against the arrogance of my foes. Awake, my God, you demandjudgement.
7 Levántate, Yahveh, en tu cólera, surge contra los arrebatos de mis opresores, despierta ya, Dios mío, tú que el juicio convocas.	7 Let the assembly of nations gather round you; return above it on high!
8 Que te rodee la asamblea de las naciones, y tú en lo alto vuélvete hacia ella.	8 (Yahweh judges the nations.) Judge me, Yahweh, as my uprightness and my integrity deserve.
9 (Yahveh, juez de los pueblos.) Júzgame, Yahveh, conforme a mi justicia y según mi inocencia.	9 Put an end to the malice of the wicked, make the upright stand firm, you who discern hearts and minds,God the upright.
10 Haz que cese la maldad de los impíos, y afianza al justo, tú que escrutas corazones y entrañas, oh Dios justo.	10 God is a shield that protects me, saving the honest of heart.
11 Dios, el escudo que me cubre, el salvador de los de recto corazón;	11 God is an upright judge, slow to anger, but a God at al times threatening
12 Dios, el juez justo, tardo a la cólera, pero Dios amenazante en todo tiempo	12 for those who wil not repent. Let the enemy whet his sword, draw his bow and make ready;
13 para el que no se vuelve. Afile su espada el enemigo, tense su arco y lo apareje,	13 but he is making ready instruments of death for himself and tipping his arrows with fire;
14 para sí solo prepara armas de muerte, hace tizones de sus flechas;	14 look at him: pregnant with malice, conceiving spite, he gives birth to treachery.
15 vedle en su preñez de iniquidad, malicia concibió, fracaso pare.	15 He digs a trap, scoops it out, but he fal s into the snare he made himself.
16 Cavó una fosa, recavó bien hondo, mas cae en el hoyo que él abrió;	16 His spite recoils on his own head, his brutality falls back on his own skul .
17 revierte su obra en su cabeza, su violencia en su cerviz recae.	17 I thank Yahweh for his saving justice. I sing to the name of the Most High.
18 Doy gracias a Yahveh por su justicia, salmodio al nombre de Yahveh, el Altísimo.
