1 Canción de las subidas. Mucho me han asediado desde mi juventud, - que lo diga Israel -	1 A Canticle in steps. From the depths, I have cried out to you, O Lord.
2 mucho me han asediado desde mi juventud, pero conmigo no han podido.	2 O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication.
3 Sobre mi espalda araron aradores, alargaron sus surcos.	3 If you, O Lord, were to heed iniquities, who, O Lord, could persevere?
4 Yahveh, el justo ha roto las coyundas de los impíos.	4 For with you, there is forgiveness, and because of your law, I persevered with you, Lord. My soul has persevered in his word.
5 ¡Sean avergonzados, retrocedan todos los que odian a Sión;	5 My soul has hoped in the Lord.
6 sean como la hierba de los techos que se seca antes de arrancarla!	6 From the morning watch, even until night, let Israel hope in the Lord.
7 De ella no llena el segador su mano ni su regazo el gavillador;	7 For with the Lord there is mercy, and with him there is bountiful redemption.
8 y no dicen tampoco los que pasan: ¡Bendición de Yahveh sobre vosotros! Nosotros os bendecimos en el nombre de Yahveh.	8 And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
