1 A psalm of the Korahites. A song.	1 Пісня. Псалом. Синів Кораха.
2 Great is the LORD and highly praised in the city of our God: The holy mountain,	2 Великий Господь і хвальний вельми у місті нашого Бога.
3 fairest of heights, the joy of all the earth, Mount Zion, the heights of Zaphon, the city of the great king.	3 Його свята гора, горб прекрасний — землі усієї радість. Гора Сіон, крайня північ, великого царя місто;
4 God is its citadel, renowned as a stronghold.	4 Бог у його палатах явив себе твердинею.
5 See! The kings assembled, together they invaded.	5 Ось бо царі зібрались, насунули всі разом.
6 When they looked they were astounded; terrified, they were put to flight!	6 Ледве побачили, то й поторопіли, — збентежились, розбіглись.
7 Trembling seized them there, anguish, like a woman's labor,	7 Страх їх обняв там, немов біль породіллі
8 As when the east wind wrecks the ships of Tarshish!	8 або східній вітер, який ти посилаєш, щоб торощив кораблі таршішські.
9 What we had heard we now see in the city of the LORD of hosts, In the city of our God, founded to last forever. Selah	9 Так, як ми чули, так і побачили у місті Господа сил, у місті нашого Бога: Бог укріплює його повіки.
10 O God, within your temple we ponder your steadfast love.	10 Роздумуєм, о Боже, про твоє милосердя посеред храму твого.
11 Like your name, O God, your praise reaches the ends of the earth. Your right hand is fully victorious.	11 Твоя хвала, як твоє ім’я, о Боже, — аж по край землі. Справедливости повна твоя десниця.
12 Mount Zion is glad! The cities of Judah rejoice because of your saving deeds!	12 Хай веселиться Сіон-гора, хай радуються міста Юди через суди твої.
13 Go about Zion, walk all around it, note the number of its towers.	13 Обійдіть Сіон навколо й оточіть його, полічіть його башти.
14 Consider the ramparts, examine its citadels, that you may tell future generations:	14 Огляньте добре його передмур’я, оббіжіть його палаци, щоб розповісти прийдешньому поколінню,
15 "Yes, so mighty is God, our God who leads us always!"	15 що то Господь — наш Бог по віки вічні. Він нас вестиме.
