1 Paweł, apostoł nie z ludzkiego ustanowienia czy zlecenia, lecz z ustanowienia Jezusa Chrystusa i Boga Ojca, który Go wskrzesił z martwych,	1 From Paul, an apostle appointed not by human beings nor through any human being but by JesusChrist and God the Father who raised him from the dead,
2 i wszyscy bracia, którzy są przy mnie - do Kościołów Galacji:	2 and al the brothers who are with me, to the churches of Galatia.
3 Łaska wam i pokój od Boga, Ojca naszego, i od Pana Jezusa Chrystusa,	3 Grace and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ
4 który wydał samego siebie za nasze grzechy, aby wyrwać nas z obecnego złego świata, zgodnie z wolą Boga i Ojca naszego.	4 who gave himself for our sins to liberate us from this present wicked world, in accordance with the wil ofour God and Father,
5 Jemu to chwała na wieki wieków! Amen.	5 to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
6 Nadziwić się nie mogę, że od Tego, który was łaską Chrystusa powołał, tak szybko chcecie przejść do innej Ewangelii.	6 I am astonished that you are so promptly turning away from the one who cal ed you in the grace ofChrist and are going over to a different gospel-
7 Innej jednak Ewangelii nie ma: są tylko jacyś ludzie, którzy sieją wśród was zamęt i którzy chcieliby przekręcić Ewangelię Chrystusową.	7 not that it is another gospel; except that there are trouble-makers among you who are seeking to pervertthe gospel of Christ.
8 Ale gdybyśmy nawet my lub anioł z nieba głosił wam Ewangelię różną od tej, którą wam głosiliśmy - niech będzie przeklęty!	8 But even if we ourselves or an angel from heaven preaches to you a gospel other than the one wepreached to you, let God's curse be on him.
9 Już to przedtem powiedzieliśmy, a teraz jeszcze mówię: Gdyby wam kto głosił Ewangelię różną od tej, którą /od nas/ otrzymaliście - niech będzie przeklęty!	9 I repeat again what we declared before: anyone who preaches to you a gospel other than the one youwere first given is to be under God's curse.
10 A zatem teraz: czy zabiegam o względy ludzi, czy raczej Boga? Czy ludziom staram się przypodobać? Gdybym jeszcze teraz ludziom chciał się przypodobać, nie byłbym sługą Chrystusa.	10 Whom am I trying to convince now, human beings or God? Am I trying to please human beings? If Iwere stil doing that I should not be a servant of Christ.
11 Oświadczam więc wam, bracia, że głoszona przeze mnie Ewangelią nie jest wymysłem ludzkim.	11 Now I want to make it quite clear to you, brothers, about the gospel that was preached by me, that itwas no human message.
12 Nie otrzymałem jej bowiem ani nie nauczyłem się od jakiegoś człowieka, lecz objawił mi ją Jezus Chrystus.	12 It was not from any human being that I received it, and I was not taught it, but it came to me through arevelation of Jesus Christ.
13 Słyszeliście przecież o moim postępowaniu ongiś, gdy jeszcze wyznawałem judaizm, jak z niezwykłą gorliwością zwalczałem Kościół Boży i usiłowałem go zniszczyć,	13 You have surely heard how I lived in the past, within Judaism, and how there was simply no limit to the way I persecuted the Church of God in my attempts to destroy it;
14 jak w żarliwości o judaizm przewyższałem wielu moich rówieśników z mego narodu, jak byłem szczególnie wielkim zapaleńcem w zachowywaniu tradycji moich przodków.	14 and how, in Judaism, I outstripped most of my Jewish contemporaries in my limitless enthusiasm forthe traditions of my ancestors.
15 Gdy jednak spodobało się Temu, który wybrał mnie jeszcze w łonie matki mojej i powołał łaską swoją,	15 But when God, who had set me apart from the time when I was in my mother's womb, cal ed methrough his grace and chose
16 aby objawić Syna swego we mnie, bym Ewangelię o Nim głosił poganom, natychmiast, nie radząc się ciała i krwi	16 to reveal his Son in me, so that I should preach him to the gentiles, I was in no hurry to confer with anyhuman being,
17 ani nie udając się do Jerozolimy, do tych, którzy apostołami stali się pierwej niż ja, skierowałem się do Arabii, a później znowu wróciłem do Damaszku.	17 or to go up to Jerusalem to see those who were already apostles before me. Instead, I went off toArabia, and later I came back to Damascus.
18 Następnie, trzy lata później, udałem się do Jerozolimy dla zapoznania się z Kefasem, zatrzymując się u niego /tylko/ piętnaście dni.	18 Only after three years did I go up to Jerusalem to meet Cephas. I stayed fifteen days with him
19 Spośród zaś innych, którzy należą do grona Apostołów, widziałem jedynie Jakuba, brata Pańskiego.	19 but did not set eyes on any of the rest of the apostles, only James, the Lord's brother.
20 A Bóg jest mi świadkiem, że w tym, co tu do was piszę, nie kłamię.	20 I swear before God that what I have written is the truth.
21 Potem udałem się do krain Syrii i Cylicji.	21 After that I went to places in Syria and Cilicia;
22 Kościołom zaś chrześcijańskim w Judei pozostawałem osobiście nie znany.	22 and was stil unknown by sight to the churches of Judaea which are in Christ,
23 Docierała do nich jedynie wieść: ten, co dawniej nas prześladował, teraz jako Dobrą Nowinę głosi wiarę, którą ongiś usiłował wytępić.	23 they simply kept hearing it said, 'The man once so eager to persecute us is now preaching the faiththat he used to try to destroy,'
24 I wielbili Boga z mego powodu.	24 and they gave glory to God for me.
