1 Wtedy Mojżesz i Izraelici razem z nim śpiewali taką pieśń ku czci Pana: Będę śpiewał ku czci Pana, który wspaniale swą potęgę okazał, gdy konia i jeźdźca jego pogrążył w morzu.	1 It was then that Moses and the Israelites sang this song in Yahweh's honour: I shall sing to Yahweh,for he has covered himself in glory, horse and rider he has thrown into the sea.
2 Pan jest moją mocą i źródłem męstwa! Jemu zawdzięczam moje ocalenie. On Bogiem moim, uwielbiać Go będę, On Bogiem ojca mego, będę Go wywyższał.	2 Yah is my strength and my song, to him I owe my deliverance. He is my God and I shal praise him,my father's God and I shal extol him.
3 Pan, mocarz wojny, Jahwe jest imię Jego.	3 Yahweh is a warrior; Yahweh is his name.
4 Rzucił w morze rydwany faraona i jego wojsko. Wyborowi jego wodzowie zginęli w Morzu Czerwonym.	4 Pharaoh's chariots and army he has hurled into the sea the pick of his officers have been drowned inthe Sea of Reeds.
5 Przepaści ich ogarnęły, jak głaz runęli w głębinę.	5 The ocean has closed over them; they have sunk to the bottom like a stone.
6 Uwielbiona jest potęga prawicy Twej, Panie, Prawica Twa, o Panie, starła nieprzyjaciół.	6 Your right hand, Yahweh, wins glory by its strength, your right hand, Yahweh, shatters your foes,
7 Pełen potęgi zniszczyłeś przeciwników Twoich, Twój gniew im okazałeś, a spalił ich jak słomę.	7 and by your great majesty you fell your assailants; you unleash your fury, it consumes them like chaff.
8 Pod tchnieniem Twoich nozdrzy spiętrzyły się wody, żywioły płynne stanęły jak wały, w pośrodku morza zakrzepły przepaści.	8 A blast from your nostrils and the waters piled high; the waves stood firm as a dyke; the bed of the seabecame firm ground.
9 Mówił nieprzyjaciel: Będę ścigał, pochwycę, zdobycz podzielę, nasycę mą duszę, miecza dobędę, ręka moja ich zetrze.	9 The enemy said, 'I shal give chase and overtake, 'I shal share out the spoil and glut myself on them, 'Ishall draw my sword, my hand wil destroy them.'
10 Wionęło tchnienie Twoje i przykryło ich morze, zatonęli jak ołów pośród wód gwałtownych.	10 You blew with your breath, the sea closed over them; they sank like lead in the terrible waters.
11 Któż jest pośród bogów równy Tobie, Panie, w blasku świętości, któż Ci jest podobny, straszliwy w czynach, cuda działający!	11 Yahweh, who is like you, majestic in sanctity, who like you among the holy ones, fearsome of deed,worker of wonders?
12 Prawicę swą wyciągnąłeś i pożarła ich ziemia.	12 You stretched your right hand out, the earth swallowed them!
13 Wiodłeś Twą łaską lud oswobodzony, przeprowadziłeś go Twą mocą w święte Twe mieszkanie.	13 In your faithful love you led out the people you had redeemed, in your strength you have guided themto your holy dwel ing.
14 Wieść tę narody przyjęły ze drżeniem, padł strach na mieszkańców filistyńskiej ziemi.	14 Hearing of this, the peoples tremble; pangs seize on the people of Philistia;
15 Przerazili się wtedy książęta Edomu, wodzów Moabu ogarnęła bojaźń, truchleją z trwogi wszyscy mieszkańcy Kanaanu.	15 the chieftains of Edom are dismayed, Moab's princes -- panic has seized them, all the inhabitants ofCanaan have melted away.
16 Strach i przerażenie owładnęły nimi. Wobec siły ramienia Twego stali się jak kamień, aż przejdzie lud Twój, o Panie, aż przejdzie lud, któryś sobie nabył.	16 On them fall terror and dread; through the power of your arm they are stil as stone while your peopleare passing, Yahweh, while the people you have purchased are passing.
17 Wprowadziłeś ich i osadziłeś na górze twego dziedzictwa, w miejscu, które uczyniłeś swym mieszkaniem, w świątyni, którą założyły Twoje ręce, Panie.	17 You wil bring them in and plant them on the mountain which is your heritage, the place which you,Yahweh, have made your dwel ing, the sanctuary, Yahweh, prepared by your own hands.
18 Pan jest królem na zawsze, na wieki!	18 Yahweh will be king for ever and ever.
19 Gdy weszły w morze konie faraona z rydwanami i jeźdźcami, Pan przywiódł na nich z powrotem fale morskie, synowie zaś Izraela przeszli suchą nogą morze.	19 For when Pharaoh's cavalry, with his chariots and horsemen, had gone into the sea, Yahweh broughtthe waters of the sea back over them, though the Israelites went on dry ground right through the sea.
20 Miriam prorokini, siostra Aarona, wzięła bębenek do ręki, a wszystkie kobiety szły za nią w pląsach i uderzały w bębenki.	20 The prophetess Miriam, Aaron's sister, took up a tambourine, and all the women fol owed her withtambourines, dancing,
21 A Miriam przyśpiewywała im: śpiewajmy pieśń chwały na cześć Pana, bo swą potęgę okazał, gdy konie i jeźdźców ich pogrążył w morzu.	21 while Miriam took up from them the refrain: Sing to Yahweh, for he has covered himself in glory,horse and rider he has thrown into the sea.
22 Mojżesz polecił Izraelitom wyruszyć od Morza Czerwonego, i szli w kierunku pustyni Szur. Szli trzy dni przez pustynię, a nie znaleźli wody.	22 Moses led Israel away from the Sea of Reeds, and they entered the desert of Shur. They thentravel ed through the desert for three days without finding water.
23 I przybyli potem do miejscowości Mara, i nie mogli pić wód, gdyż były gorzkie; przeto nadano temu miejscu nazwę Mara.	23 When they reached Marah, they could not drink the Marah water because it was bitter; this is why theplace was named Marah.
24 Szemrał lud przeciw Mojżeszowi i mówił: Cóż będziemy pili?	24 The people complained to Moses saying, 'What are we to drink?'
25 Mojżesz wołał do Pana, a Pan wskazał mu drewno. Wrzucił on je do wody, i stały się wody słodkie. Tam Pan ustanowił dla niego prawa i rozporządzenia i tam go doświadczał.	25 Moses appealed to Yahweh for help, and Yahweh showed him a piece of wood. When Moses threwit into the water, the water became sweet. There he laid down a statute and law for them and there he put themto the test. Then he said,
26 I powiedział: Jeśli wiernie będziesz słuchał głosu Pana, twego Boga, i będziesz wykonywał to, co jest słuszne w Jego oczach; jeśli będziesz dawał posłuch Jego przykazaniom i strzegł wszystkich Jego praw, to nie ukarzę cię żadną z tych plag, jakie zesłałem na Egipt, bo Ja, Pan,	26 'If you listen careful y to the voice of Yahweh your God and do what he regards as right, if you payattention to his commandments and keep al his laws, I shal never inflict on you any of the diseases that Iinflicted on the Egyptians, for I am Yahweh your Healer.'
27 Potem przybyli do Elim, gdzie było dwanaście źródeł i siedemdziesiąt palm. Tutaj to rozbili namioty nad wodą.	27 So they came to Elim where there were twelve springs and seventy palm trees; and there theypitched camp beside the water.
