BIBBIA VOLGARE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 E cantarono in quello dì Debora e Barac figliuolo di Abinoem, e sì dissono;	1 They sang a song that day, Deborah and Barak son of Abinoam, and the words were:
2 Tutti voi i quali (deste e) offeriste oggi per propria volontade le vostre anime a pericolo, benedite Iddio Signore.	2 That the warriors in Israel unbound their hair, that the people came forward with a will, bless Yahweh!
3 Udite, re; e pigliate colle vostre orecchie, o voi principi; io sono, lo quale canterò a Dio Signore (il giubilo) e sonerò dinanzi da Dio d' Israel.	3 Listen, you kings! Give ear, you princes! From me, from me comes a song for Yahweh. I shal glorifyYahweh, God of Israel.
4 O Signore Iddio, uscendo tu di Seir e passando su per le contrade di Edon, la terra si mosse; e le nuvole incomincioro a gittare gocciole d' acqua.	4 Yahweh, when you set out from Seir, when you marched from the field of Edom, the earth shook, theheavens pelted, the clouds pelted down water.
5 Tutti i monti corsero inanzi alla faccia di Dio, e Sinai dalla faccia di Dio Signore d' Israel.	5 The mountains melted before Yahweh of Sinai, before Yahweh, God of Israel.

11 Ove sono atterrati i carri armati (e guasti) ove sono affogati tutti quelli dell' oste de' nemici, qui si dicano le giustizie di Dio Signore e la sua clemenza (e benignità) nelli forti della città d' Israel: e allora iscese giuso il popolo di Dio Signore alle porte, e si prese il principato (e signoria).	11 sing -- to the sound of the shepherds at the watering places! There they extol Yahweh's blessings, hissaving acts for his villages in Israel! (Then Yahweh's people marched down to the gates.)
12 Lièvati, lièvati suso, Debora; lièvati, lièvati suso, e favella di questo canto: lièvati suso, Barac figliuolo di Abinoem, e piglia i tuoi pregioni.	12 Awake, awake, Deborah! Awake, awake, declaim a song! Take heart, to your feet, Barak, capture yourcaptors, son of Abinoam!

31 Così periscano (e vengano meno), o Dio Signore, tutti i tuoi nemici; ma coloro i quali t' amano, come il sole riluce (e risplende) quando si lieva, così risplendano.	31 So perish al your enemies, Yahweh! And let those who love you be like the sun when he emerges inal his strength! And the country had peace for forty years.
32 E riposossi la terra (e istette in pace) XL anni.
