Isaia 43

BIBBIA VOLGARE	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 E ora questo dice lo Signore Iddio, il quale creò te, Iacob, e formò te, Israel: non temere, però ch' io t'ho ricomperato, e chiamai te per lo tuo nome: tu se' lo mio servo.	1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
2 Quando passerai per le acque (cioè per le tribulazioni), io sarò teco, e li fiumi non ti occuperanno; e se tu anderai nel fuoco, non arderai, e la fiamma non arderà te.	2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
3 Però ch' io sono lo tuo Signore Iddio, santo d' Israel, tuo salvatore; io diedi lo tuo aiuto Egitto, ed Etiopia e Saba per te.	3 For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
4 Poi che sei stato convenevole a' miei occhi e glorioso, io amai te, e darò per te li uomini, e li populi per l'anima tua.	4 Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.
5 Non temere, però ch' io sono teco; io menerò lo tuo seme d'oriente insino a occidente.	5 Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;
6 Io dirò ad aquilone, che dia; e ad austro, che non faccia niente di vento; portami li miei figliuoli da lunga, e le mie figliuole dalle estreme parti della terra.	6 I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;
7 E io creai nella mia gloria ogni uomo il quale chiama lo mio nome; io lo formai, e fecilo.	7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
8 Mena fuori lo popolo cieco, e che hae occhi; lo sordo, e non gli mancano gli orecchi.	8 Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.
9 Tutte le genti sono radunate insieme e le tribù (cioè le schiatte) si sono raccolte; quale è tra voi che annuncii questo, e che farà udire a noi quelle cose che furono in prima? Diano li loro testimonii, e siano giustificati, e odano, e dicano: veramente.	9 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.
10 Voi siete testimonii [a me], dice lo Signore, e mio servo, il quale elessi, acciò che voi sappiate e intendiate e crediate che io sono Iddio. Innanzi a me non è alcuno Iddio formato, e dopo a me non verrà più.	10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
11 Io sono lo Signore, e senza me non è alcuno salvatore.	11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
12 Io annunciai, e salvai; e fecilo udire, e non fu in voi alcuno straniero; voi siete testimonii a me, dice lo Signore, e io Iddio.	12 I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.
13 Dal principio io medesimo sono, e non è persona che della mano mia possa scampare; e io adoperrò; e chi sarà chi tolga quello (che io adoperrò)?	13 Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?
14 Questo dice lo Signore, santo di Israel, vostro ricompratore: per vostra cagione (cioè per voi salvare) mandai in Babilonia, e spezzai li chiavistelli, e li Caldei i quali avevano la gloria nelle loro navi..	14 Thus saith the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships.
15 Io sono lo vostro Iddio santo, che creò Israel; e io sono lo vostro re.	15 I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.
16 Questo dice lo Signore, il quale ci diede la via nel mare, e diede lo sentiere nelli fiumi dell' acque correnti.	16 Thus saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;
17 lo quale menò lo carro e lo cavallo, e la compagnia e l'uomo robusto (e forte): tutti dormirono insieme (cioè insieme morirono), e non si rilevaranno; e furono spezzati e spenti, come lo lino.	17 Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow.
18 Non vi ricordi delle prime cose, e le antiche non vogliate riguardare.	18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
19 Ed ecco che io foe ora le cose nuove, c ora nasceranno (e averanno principio), e voi conoscerete (e vedrete) quelle; io porrò la via nel deserto, ? dove non sarà via porrò i fiumi.	19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
20 La bestia del campo darà gloria a me, e li dragoni e li struzzoli; però che puosi le acque nel deserto, e li fiumi dove non era via, acciò ch' io dessi beveraggio al mio populo e al mio eletto.	20 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.
21 Io formai a me questo populo; egli narrerà (e dirà) la mia laude.	21 This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.
22 O Iacob, tu non chiamasti me; e tu, Israel, non facesti per me.	22 But thou hast not called upon me, O Jacob; but thou hast been weary of me, O Israel.
23 Tu non offeristi a me lo montone del tuo sacrificio; non desti gloria a me; io non ti feci servire nell' offerta, e non ti diedi fatica nello incenso.	23 Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings; neither hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to serve with an offering, nor wearied thee with incense.
24 Tu non comperasti a me lo calamo (aromatico) per argento, e non inebriasti me (del mangiare) del grasso del tuo sacrificio. Ma tu mi facesti servire ne' tuoi peccati, e dèsti a me fatica nelle tue malvagitadi.	24 Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities.
25 Io sono colui il quale spengo le malvagitadi tue per me, e non averò memoria delli tuoi peccati.	25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.
26 Riduci me in memoria, e facciamo insieme lo giudicio; narra e di' se tu hai alcuna cosa acciò che tu si giustificato.	26 Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.
27 Lo tuo primo padre peccoe, e li tuoi interpreti (cioè li dottori) hanno prevaricato contro a me.	27 Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers have transgressed against me.
28 E contaminai li santi prìncipi (cioè li prelati), e diedi a morte Iacob, e Israel puosi in biastema.	28 Therefore I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and have given Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches.
