BIBBIA TINTORI	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Celebrate il Signore, perchè è buono, perchè dura in eterno la sua misericordia.	1 O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
2 Chi potrà ridire le potenti opere del Signore, e far sentire tutte le sue lodi?	2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
3 Beati quelli che osservano la legge e in ogni tempo praticano la giustizia.	3 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
4 Ricordati di noi, o Signore, nella tua benevolenza verso il tuo popolo, visitaci colla tua salvezza;	4 Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
5 In modo che possiamo vedere la felicità dei tuoi detti, gioire dell'allegrezza del tuo popolo, e tu sia glorificato nella tua eredità.	5 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
6 Abbiamo peccato coi nostri padri, abbiamo agito da ingiusti, abbiamo commessa l'iniquità.	6 O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.
7 I nostri padri in Egitto non compresero i tuoi prodigi, nè si ricordarono delle tue molte misericordie. E t'irritarono nel salire verso il mare, il Mar Rosso.	7 He is the LORD our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
8 Ma Egli li salvò per amor del suo nome, per far conoscere la sua potenza.	8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
9 Minacciò il Mar Rosso, che seccò, e li condusse attraverso gli abissi come su arido terreno.	9 Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
10 Li salvò dalle mani di coloro che li odiavano, li liberò dal potere del nemico.	10 And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:
11 Le acque sommersero i loro oppressori: non ne scampò neppur uno.	11 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:
12 Allora essi credettero alle sue parole e cantaron le sue lodi.	12 When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.
13 Ma fecero presto a dimenticarsi delle sue opere, e non attesero (l'adempimento) dei suoi disegni.	13 When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;
14 E s'accesero di vogliose brame nel deserto e tentarono Dio nell'arida landa.	14 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
15 E diede loro quel che chiedevano, e mandò da saziare i loro appetiti.	15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
16 Ed essi irritarono Mosè negli alloggiamenti, e Aronne, il santo del Signore.	16 Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he brake the whole staff of bread.
17 La terra si aprì ed ingoiò Datan e si richiuse sopra i partigiani d'Abiron.	17 He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:
18 Il fuoco divampò nella loro adunanza, la fiamma consumò gli empi.	18 Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:
19 Fecero un vitello in Oreb, adorarono una statua scolpita.	19 Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.
20 Cambiaron la loro gloria colla figura d'un vitello che bruca l'erba.	20 The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.
21 Si dimenticaron di Dio, che li aveva salvati, che aveva fatte maravigliose cose in Egitto.	21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:
22 Cose miracolose nella terra di Cam, cose terribili nel Mar Rosso.	22 To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.
23 Aveva già detto di sterminarli, se Mosè, suo eletto, non fosse rimasto sulla breccia dinanzi a lui, per impedire al suo sdegno di annientarli,	23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
24 Stimarono un niente la terra desiderabile, non credettero alla parola di lui,	24 And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.
25 Mormoraron nelle loro tende, non dettero retta alla voce del Signore.	25 He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
26 Egli alzò la sua mano (e giurò) contro di loro di farli perire nel deserto,	26 He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen.
27 Di cacciare la loro stirpe tra le nazioni, di disperderli per tutti i paesi.	27 They shewed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28 Ed essi si consacrarono a Beelfegor, e mangiarono i sacrifizi dei morti.	28 He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
29 E lo irritarono coi loro ritrovati. e pili grande divenne la loro rovina.	29 He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
30 Ma Finees si alzò a placarlo, e cessò il flagello.	30 Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.
31 E gli fu ascritto a giustizia di generazione in generazione, per sempre.	31 He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts.
32 E lo irritarono alle acque di contraddizione, e n'ebbe a soffrire Mosè per loro colpa:	32 He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
33 Avendo essi esacerbato il suo spirito, egli pronunziò parole di diffidenza.	33 He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.
34 Essi non distrussero le nazioni, come il Signore aveva loro ordinato;	34 He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number,
35 Ma si mescolarono con quei popoli, e ne impararono le opere,	35 And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
36 E servirono ai foro idoli che divennero per loro una pietra d'inciampo.	36 He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.
37 E immolarono i loro figli e le loro figlie ai demoni.	37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
38 E sparsero il sangue innocente, il sangue dei loro figli e delle loro figlie, che sacrificarono agli idoli di Canaan, e la terra fu contaminata dallo spargimento del sangue.	38 Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
39 Fu macchiata dalle loro opere; fornicarono coi loro ritrovati.	39 He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.
40 E il Signore s'irritò furiosamente contro il suo popolo, e prese in abbominio la sua eredità.	40 The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
41 E li diede in potere delle nazioni; e quelli che li odiavano diventaron loro padroni.	41 He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.
42 I loro nemici li trattaron duramente, ed essi furono umiliati sotto il loro potere.	42 For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.
43 Spesso li liberò; ma essi lo irritarono coi loro propositi, e furono umiliati per le loro iniquità.	43 And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:
44 Ma quando li vide nella tribolazione, ne ascoltò le preghiere.	44 And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people;
45 Gli ricordò della sua alleanza, ne fu tocco per le sue molte misericordie,	45 That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the LORD.
46 E fece loro trovar grazia presso tutti coloro che li avevan fatti schiavi.
47 Salvaci, o Signore Dio nostro, raccoglici dì tra le nazioni, onde celebriamo il tuo santo nome e riponiamo la nostra gloria nel lodarti.
48 Benedetto sia il Signore Dio d'Israele d'età in età. E tutto il popolo dirà: Così sia. Così sia.
