1 [For the choirmaster Psalm Of David] Yahweh, the king rejoices in your power; How your saving helpfills him with joy!	1 Провідникові хору. Псалом. Давида.
2 You have granted him his heart's desire, not denied him the prayer of his lips.Pause	2 О Господи, в силі твоїй цар радіє і в твоїй допомозі веселиться вельми!
3 For you come to meet him with blessings of prosperity, put a crown of pure gold on his head.	3 Бажання серця його ти йому вволив і проханню уст його ти не відмовив.
4 He has asked for life, you have given it him, length of days for ever and ever.	4 Бо ти йдеш йому назустріч благословенням щедрим, кладеш йому на голову вінець щирозлотний.
5 Great his glory through your saving help; you invest him with splendour and majesty.	5 Життя просив він у тебе: ти йому дав його, довготу днів на віки вічні.
6 You confer on him everlasting blessings, you gladden him with the joy of your presence.	6 Завдяки твоїй допомозі — велика його слава; величність і красу поклав єси на нього.
7 For the king puts his trust in Yahweh; the faithful love of the Most High wil keep him from fal ing.	7 Бо ти даєш йому благословення вічне і звеселяєш його радістю обличчя твого.
8 Your hand wil reach all your enemies, your right hand al who hate you.	8 Бо цар надіється на Господа і завдяки милості Всевишнього не похитнеться
9 You will hurl them into a blazing furnace on the day when you appear; Yahweh wil engulf them in his anger, and fire wil devour them.	9 Твоя рука досягне всіх твоїх противників; правиця твоя влучить усіх, хто тебе ненавидить.
10 You wil purge the earth of their descendants, the human race of their posterity.	10 Ти вчиниш їх, неначе піч вогненну в час твого з’явлення, Господь вогнем проглине їх у своїм гніві.
11 They have devised evil against you but, plot as they may, they will not succeed,	11 Потомство їхнє ти із землі вигубиш і їхніх нащадків — з-поміж дітей людських.
12 since you will make them turn tail, by shooting your arrows in their faces.	12 Коли задумають на тебе лихо, лукаву врадять раду, — не здолають.
13 Rise, Yahweh, in your power! We wil sing and make music in honour of your strength.	13 Бо ти обернеш їх до втечі, напнеш їм у вічі лука твого.
	14 О, вознесися, Господи, у твоїй силі! І ми будемо співати й славити твою могутність.
