Isaiah 52

1 Awake, awake! Put on your strength, O Zion; Put on your glorious garments, O Jerusalem, holy city. No longer shall the uncircumcised or the unclean enter you.	1 Probudi se! Probudi se! Odjeni se snagom, Sione! Odjeni se najsjajnijim haljinama, Jeruzaleme, grade sveti, jer više neće k tebi ulaziti neobrezani i nečisti.
2 Shake off the dust, ascend to the throne, Jerusalem; Loose the bonds from your neck, O captive daughter Zion!	2 Otresi prah sa sebe, ustani, izgnani Jeruzaleme! Skini okov sa svog vrata, izgnana kćeri sionska.«
3 For thus says the LORD: You were sold for nothing, and without money you shall be redeemed.	3 Jest, ovako govori Jahve: »Bili ste prodani nizašto i bit ćete otkupljeni bez novaca.«
4 Thus says the Lord GOD: To Egypt in the beginning my people went down, to sojourn there; Assyria, too, oppressed them for nought.	4 Jest, ovako govori Gospod Jahve: »Moj je narod sišao nekoć u Egipat da se ondje nastani kao stranac, potom ga Asirci nizašto potlačiše.
5 But now, what am I to do here? says the LORD. My people have been taken away without redress; their rulers make a boast of it, says the LORD; all the day my name is constantly reviled.	5 Ali sada, čemu sam ja ovdje« – riječ je Jahvina – »kad je moj narod bio bez razloga porobljen, a gospodari njegovi likuju« – riječ je Jahvina – »i bez prestanka se danomice ime moje huli?
6 Therefore on that day my people shall know my renown, that it is I who have foretold it. Here I am!	6 Zato će narod moj poznati moje ime i shvatit će u onaj dan da sam ja koji govorim: ‘Evo me!’«
7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings glad tidings, Announcing peace, bearing good news, announcing salvation, and saying to Zion, "Your God is King!"	7 Kako su ljupke po gorama noge glasonoše radosti koji oglašava mir, nosi sreću, i spasenje naviješta, govoreć Sionu: »Bog tvoj kraljuje!«
8 Hark! Your watchmen raise a cry, together they shout for joy, For they see directly, before their eyes, the LORD restoring Zion.	8 Čuj, stražari ti glas podižu, zajedno svi kliču od radosti, jer na svoje oči vide gdje se na Sion vraća Jahve.
9 Break out together in song, O ruins of Jerusalem! For the LORD comforts his people, he redeems Jerusalem.	9 Radujte se, kličite, razvaline jeruzalemske, jer je Jahve utješio narod svoj i otkupio Jeruzalem.
10 The LORD has bared his holy arm in the sight of all the nations; All the ends of the earth will behold the salvation of our God.	10 Ogolio je Jahve svetu svoju mišicu pred očima svih naroda, da svi krajevi zemaljski vide spasenje Boga našega.
11 Depart, depart, come forth from there, touch nothing unclean! Out from there! Purify yourselves, you who carry the vessels of the LORD.	11 Odlazite, odlazite, iziđite odatle, ne dotičite ništa nečisto! Iziđite iz njegove sredine! Očistite se, vi koji nosite posude Jahvine!
12 Yet not in fearful haste will you come out, nor leave in headlong flight, For the LORD comes before you, and your rear guard is the God of Israel.	12 Jer nećete izići u hitnji, niti ćete ići bježeći, jer će vam prethodnica biti Jahve, a zalaznica Bog Izraelov!
13 See, my servant shall prosper, he shall be raised high and greatly exalted.	13 Gle, uspjet će sluga moj, podignut će se, uzvisit’ i proslaviti!
14 Even as many were amazed at him-- so marred was his look beyond that of man, and his appearance beyond that of mortals--	14 Kao što se mnogi užasnuše vidjevši ga – tako mu je lice bilo neljudski iznakaženo te obličjem više nije naličio na čovjeka –
15 So shall he startle many nations, because of him kings shall stand speechless; For those who have not been told shall see, those who have not heard shall ponder it.	15 tako će on mnoge zadiviti narode, i kraljevi će pred njim usta stisnuti, videć’ ono o čemu im nitko nije govorio, shvaćajuć’ ono o čemu nikad čuli nisu:
