1 'Canto delle ascensioni.' Beato l'uomo che teme il Signore e cammina nelle sue vie.	1 [Song of Ascents] How blessed are al who fear Yahweh, who walk in his ways!
2 Vivrai del lavoro delle tue mani, sarai felice e godrai d'ogni bene.	2 Your own labours wil yield you a living, happy and prosperous will you be.
3 La tua sposa come vite feconda nell'intimità della tua casa; i tuoi figli come virgulti d'ulivo intorno alla tua mensa.	3 Your wife a fruitful vine in the inner places of your house. Your children round your table like shootsof an olive tree.
4 Così sarà benedetto l'uomo che teme il Signore.	4 Such are the blessings that fal on those who fear Yahweh.
5 Ti benedica il Signore da Sion! Possa tu vedere la prosperità di Gerusalemme per tutti i giorni della tua vita.	5 May Yahweh bless you from Zion! May you see Jerusalem prosper al the days of your life,
6 Possa tu vedere i figli dei tuoi figli. Pace su Israele!	6 and live to see your children's children! Peace to Israel!
