| 2 prends la tunique de la justice de Dieu, mets sur ta tête le diadème de gloire de l'Eternel; | 2 Put on the robe of the righteousness from God; put on your head the diadem of the glory of the Everlasting. |
| 3 car Dieu veut montrer ta splendeur partout sous le ciel, | 3 For God will show your splendor everywhere under heaven. |
| 4 et ton nom sera de par Dieu pour toujours: "Paix de la justice et gloire de la piété." | 4 For your name will for ever be called by God, "Peace of righteousness and glory of godliness." |
| 5 Jérusalem, lève-toi, tiens-toi sur la hauteur, et regarde vers l'Orient: vois tes enfants du couchant aulevant rassemblés sur l'ordre du Saint, jubilants, car Dieu s'est souvenu. | 5 Arise, O Jerusalem, stand upon the height and look toward the east, and see your children gathered from west and east, at the word of the Holy One, rejoicing that God has remembered them. |
| 6 Car ils t'avaient quittée à pied, sous escorte d'ennemis, mais Dieu te les ramène portésglorieusement, comme un trône royal. | 6 For they went forth from you on foot, led away by their enemies; but God will bring them back to you, carried in glory, as on a royal throne. |
| 7 Car Dieu a décidé que soient abaissées toute haute montagne et les collines éternelles, et combléesles vallées pour aplanir la terre, pour qu'Israël chemine en sécurité dans la gloire de Dieu. | 7 For God has ordered that every high mountain and the everlasting hills be made low and the valleys filled up, to make level ground, so that Israel may walk safely in the glory of God. |
| 8 Et les forêts, et tous arbres de senteur feront de l'ombre pour Israël, sur l'ordre de Dieu; | 8 The woods and every fragrant tree have shaded Israel at God's command. |
| 9 car Dieu guidera Israël dans la joie, à la lumière de sa gloire, avec la miséricorde et la justice quiviennent de lui. | 9 For God will lead Israel with joy, in the light of his glory, with the mercy and righteousness that come from him. |
