1 ¡Aleluya! ¡Alaba al Señor, alma mía!	1 Hallelujah!
2 Alabaré al Señor toda mi vida; mientras yo exista, cantaré a mi Dios.	2 Praise the LORD, my soul; I shall praise the LORD all my life, sing praise to my God while I live.
3 No confíen en los poderosos, en simples mortales, que no pueden salvar:	3 I Put no trust in princes, in mere mortals powerless to save.
4 cuando expiran, vuelven al polvo, y entonces se esfuman sus proyectos.	4 When they breathe their last, they return to the earth; that day all their planning comes to nothing.
5 Feliz el que se apoya en el Dios de Jacob y pone su esperanza en el Señor, su Dios:	5 Happy those whose help is Jacob's God, whose hope is in the LORD, their God,
6 él hizo el cielo y la tierra, el mar y todo lo que hay en ellos. El mantiene su fidelidad para siempre,	6 The maker of heaven and earth, the seas and all that is in them, Who keeps faith forever,
7 hace justicia a los oprimidos y da pan a los hambrientos. El Señor libera a los cautivos,	7 secures justice for the oppressed, gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets prisoners free;
8 abre los ojos de los ciegos y endereza a los que están encorvados.	8 the LORD gives sight to the blind. The LORD raises up those who are bowed down; the LORD loves the righteous.
9 El Señor protege a los extranjeros y sustenta al huérfano y a la viuda;	9 The LORD protects the stranger, sustains the orphan and the widow, but thwarts the way of the wicked.
10 El Señor reina eternamente, reina tu Dios, Sión, a lo largo de las generaciones. ¡Aleluya!	10 The LORD shall reign forever, your God, Zion, through all generations! Hallelujah!
