BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Yahveh habló a Moisés diciendo:	1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,
2 Di a los israelitas que reserven ofrendas para mí. Me reservaréis la ofrenda de todo aquel a quien su corazón mueva.	2 'Tel the Israelites to set aside a contribution for me; you wil accept a contribution from everyonewhose heart prompts him to give it.
3 De ellos reservaréis lo siguiente: oro, plata y bronce;	3 And this is what you wil accept from them: gold, silver and bronze;
4 púrpura violeta y escarlata, carmesí, lino fino y pelo de cabra;	4 materials dyed violet-purple, red-purple and crimson, fine linen, goats' hair;
5 pieles de carnero teñidas de rojo, cueros finos y maderas de acacia;	5 rams' skins dyed red, fine leather, acacia wood;
6 aceite para el alumbrado, aromas para el óleo de la unción y para el incienso aromático;	6 oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and fragrant incense;
7 piedras de ónice y piedras de engaste para el efod y el pectoral.	7 cornelian and other stones to be set in the ephod and breastplate.
8 Me harás un Santuario para que yo habite en medio de ellos.	8 Make me a sanctuary so that I can reside among them.
9 Lo haréis conforme al modelo de la Morada y al modelo de todo su mobiliario que yo voy a mostrarte.	9 You will make it al according to the design for the Dwel ing and the design for its furnishings which Ishall now show you.
10 Harás un arca de madera de acacia de dos codos y medio de largo, codo y medio de ancho y codo y medio de alto.	10 'You must make me an ark of acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, one and a half cubits wide andone and a half cubits high.
11 La revestirás de oro puro; por dentro y por fuera la revestirás; y además pondrás en su derredor una moldura de oro.	11 You wil overlay it, inside and out, with pure gold and make a gold moulding al round it.
12 Fundirás para ella cuatro anillas de oro, que pondrás en sus cuatro pies, dos anillas a un costado, y dos anillas al otro.	12 You wil cast four gold rings for it and fix them to its four supports: two rings on one side and tworings on the other.
13 Harás también varales de madera de acacia, que revestirás de oro,	13 You wil also make shafts of acacia wood and overlay them with gold
14 y los pasarás por las anillas de los costados del arca, para transportarla.	14 and pass the shafts through the rings on the sides of the ark, by which to carry it.
15 Los varales deben quedar en las anillas del arca, y no se sacarán de allí.	15 The shafts wil stay in the rings of the ark and not be withdrawn.
16 En el arca pondrás el Testimonio que yo te voy a dar.	16 Inside the ark you wil put the Testimony which I am about to give you.
17 Harás asimismo uno propiciatorio de oro puro, de dos codos y medio de largo y codo y medio de ancho.	17 'You wil also make a mercy-seat of pure gold, two and a half cubits long and one and a half cubitswide,
18 Harás, además, dos querubines de oro macizo; los harás en los dos extremos del propiciatorio:	18 and you wil model two great winged creatures of beaten gold, you wil make them at the two ends ofthe mercy-seat.
19 haz el primer querubín en un extremo y el segundo en el otro. Los querubines formarán un cuerpo con el propiciatorio, en sus dos extremos.	19 Model one of the winged creatures at one end and the other winged creature at the other end; youwil model the winged creatures of a piece with the mercy-seat at either end.
20 Estarán con las alas extendidas por encima, cubriendo con ellas el propiciatorio, uno frente al otro, con las caras vueltas hacia el propiciatorio.	20 The winged creatures must have their wings spread upwards, protecting the mercy-seat with theirwings and facing each other, their faces being towards the mercy-seat.
21 Pondrás el propiciatorio encima del arca; y pondrás dentro del arca el Testimonio que yo te daré.	21 You wil put the mercy-seat on the top of the ark, and inside the ark you will put the Testimony which Iam about to give you.
22 Allí me encontraré contigo; desde encima del propiciatorio, de en medio de los dos querubines colocados sobre el arca del Testimonio, te comunicaré todo lo que haya de ordenarte para los israelitas.	22 There I shall come to meet you; from above the mercy-seat, from between the two winged creatureswhich are on the ark of the Testimony, I shall give you al my orders for the Israelites.
23 Harás una mesa de madera de acacia, de dos codos de largo, uno de ancho, y codo y medio de alto.	23 'You must also make a table of acacia wood, two cubits long, one cubit wide and one and a halfcubits high.
24 La revestirás de oro puro y le pondrás alrededor una moldura de oro.	24 You wil overlay it with pure gold, and make a gold moulding al round it.
25 Harás también en torno de ella un reborde de una palma de ancho, con una moldura de oro alrededor del mismo.	25 You wil fit it with struts of a hand's breadth and make a gold moulding round the struts.
26 Le harás cuatro anillas de oro, y pondrás las anillas en los cuatro ángulos correspondientes a sus cuatro pies.	26 You wil make four gold rings for it and fix the four rings at the four corners where the four legs are.
27 Estarán las anillas junto al reborde, para pasar por ellas los varales y transportar la mesa.	27 The rings must lie close to the struts to hold the shafts for carrying the table.
28 Harás los varales de madera de acacia y los revestirás de oro. Con ellos se transportará la mesa.	28 You must make the shafts of acacia wood and overlay them with gold. The table must be carried bythese.
29 Harás también las fuentes, los vasos, los jarros y las tazas para las libaciones. De oro puro los harás.	29 You must make dishes, cups, jars and libation bowls for it; you must make these of pure gold,
30 Y sobre la mesa pondrás perpetuamente delante de mí el pan de la Presencia.	30 and on the table, in my presence, you wil always put the loaves of permanent offering.
31 Harás también un candelabro de oro puro. Harás de oro macizo el candelabro, su pie y su tallo. Sus cálices - corolas y flores - formarán un cuerpo con él.	31 'You wil also make a lamp-stand of pure gold; the lamp-stand must be of beaten gold, base andstem. Its cups, calyxes and petals, must be of a piece with it.
32 Saldrán seis brazos de sus lados: tres brazos de un lado y tres del otro.	32 Six branches must spring from its sides: three of the lamp-stand's branches from one side, three ofthe lamp-stand's branches from the other.
33 El primer brazo tendrá tres cálices en forma de flor de almendro, con corola y flor; también el segundo brazo tendrá tres cálices en forma de flor de almendro, con corola y flor; y así los seis brazos que salen del candelabro.	33 The first branch must carry three cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with its calyx and petals;the second branch, too, must carry three cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with its calyx and bud, andsimilarly for all six branches springing from the lamp-stand.
34 En el mismo candelabro habrá cuatro cálices en forma de flor de almendro, con sus corolas y sus flores:	34 The lamp-stand itself must carry four cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with its calyx and bud:
35 una corola debajo de los dos primeros brazos que forman cuerpo con el candelabro; una corola, debajo de los dos siguientes, y una corola, debajo de los dos últimos brazos; así con los seis brazos que salen del candelabro.	35 one calyx under the first two branches springing from the lamp-stand, one calyx under the next pairof branches and one calyx under the last pair of branches -- thus for al six branches springing from the lamp-stand.
36 Las corolas y los brazos formarán un cuerpo con el candelabro. Todo ello formará un cuerpo de oro puro macizo.	36 The calyxes and the branches wil be of a piece with the lamp-stand, and the whole made from asingle piece of pure gold, beaten out.
37 Harás sus siete lámparas que colocarás encima de manera que den luz al frente.	37 You wil also make seven lamps for it and mount the lamps in such a way that they light up the spacein front of it.
38 Sus despabiladeras y sus ceniceros serán de oro puro.	38 The snuffers and trays must be of pure gold.
39 Se empleará un talento de oro puro para hacer el candelabro con todos estos utensilios.	39 You wil use a talent of pure gold for the lamp-stand and al its accessories;
40 Fíjate para que lo hagas según los modelos que te han sido mostrados en el monte.	40 and see that you work to the design which was shown you on the mountain.'
