1 And the second lot went out, for the sons of Simeon by their families. And their inheritance was,	1 La seconda parte sorteggiata toccò a Simeone, alla tribù dei figli di Simeone secondo i loro casati. La loro eredità è in mezzo a quella dei figli di Giuda.
2 in the midst of the possession of the sons of Judah: Beersheba, and Sheba, and Moladah,	2 Ebbero nel loro territorio: Bersabea, Seba, Moladà,
3 and Hazar-shual, Balah, and Ezem,	3 Casar-Sual, Bala, Esem,
4 and Eltolad, Bethul, and Hormah,	4 Eltolàd, Betul, Corma,
5 and Ziklag, and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,	5 Siklag, Bet-Marcabòt, Casar-Susa,
6 and Bethlebaoth, and Sharuhen: thirteen cities, and their villages;	6 Bet-Lebaòt e Saruchèn: tredici città e i loro villaggi;
7 Ain and Enrimmon, and Ether and Ashan: four cities, and their villages;	7 En, Rimmon, Eter e Asan: quattro città e i loro villaggi;
8 all villages around these cities, as far as Baalath-beer, the high place facing the southern region. 11 And it ascends from the sea and from Mareal. And it passes on to Dabbesheth, as far as the torrent, which is opposite Jokneam.	11 Questo confine saliva a occidente verso Maralà e giungeva a Dabbeset e poi toccava il torrente che è di fronte a Iokneàm.
12 And it turns back from Sarid, to the east, to the end of Chisloth-tabor. And it goes out to Daberath, and it ascends opposite Japhia.	12 Da Sarid girava a oriente, dove sorge il sole, sino al confine di Chislot-Tabor; poi continuava verso Daberàt e saliva a Iafìa.
13 And from there, it continues to the eastern region of Gathhepher and Ethkazin. And goes out to Rimmon, Amthar, and Neah.	13 Di là passava verso oriente, dove sorge il sole, per Gat-Chefer, per Et-Kasìn, usciva verso Rimmon, girando fino a Nea.
14 And it circles to the north at Hannathon. And its exits are at the Valley of Iphtahel;	14 Poi il confine piegava dal lato di settentrione verso Cannatòn e faceva capo alla valle d’Iftach-El.
15 and Kattath and Nahalal, and Shimron and Idalah, and Bethlehem: twelve cities, and their villages.	15 Esso includeva inoltre Kattat, Naalàl, Simron, Idalà e Betlemme: dodici città e i loro villaggi.
16 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun, by their families, the cities and their villages.	16 Questa fu l’eredità dei figli di Zàbulon, secondo i loro casati: queste città e i loro villaggi.
17 The fourth lot went out to Issachar, by their families.	17 La quarta parte sorteggiata toccò a Ìssacar, ai figli d’Ìssacar, secondo i loro casati.
18 And his inheritance was: Jezreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,	18 Il loro territorio comprendeva: Izreèl, Chesullòt, Sunem,
19 and Hapharaim, and Shion, and Anaharath,	19 Cafaràim, Sion, Anacaràt,
20 and Rabbith and Kishion, Ebez	20 Rabbit, Kisiòn, Abes,
21 and Remeth, and Engannim, and Enhaddah, and Bethpazzez.	21 Remet, En-Gannìm, En-Caddà e Bet-Passes.
22 And its limit reaches to Tabor and Shahazumah and Beth-shemesh; and its exits shall be at the Jordan: sixteen cities, and their villages.	22 Poi il confine giungeva a Tabor, Sacasìm, Bet-Semes e faceva capo al Giordano: sedici città e i loro villaggi.
23 This is the possession of the sons of Issachar by their families, the cities and their villages.	23 Questa fu l’eredità della tribù dei figli d’Ìssacar, secondo i loro casati: queste città e i loro villaggi.
24 And the fifth lot fell to the tribe of the sons of Asher, by their families.	24 La quinta parte sorteggiata toccò ai figli di Aser, secondo i loro casati.
25 And their border was: Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Achshaph,	25 Il loro territorio comprendeva: Chelkat, Calì, Beten, Acsaf,
26 and Allammelech, and Amad, and Mishal. And it extends even to Carmel by the sea, and Shihor, and Libnath.	26 Alammèlec, Amad, Misal. Il loro confine giungeva, verso occidente, al Carmelo e a Sicor-Libnat.
27 And it turns back toward the east at Bethdagon. And it continues on as far as Zebulun and the Valley of Iphtahel, toward the north, at Beth-emek and Neiel. And it goes out to the left of Cabul,	27 Poi piegava dal lato dove sorge il sole verso Bet-Dagon, toccava Zàbulon e la valle di Iftach-El a settentrione, Bet-Emek e Neièl, e si prolungava verso Cabul a sinistra
28 and to Ebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, as far as the great Sidon.	28 e verso Ebron, Recob, Cammon e Kana fino a Sidone la Grande.
29 And it turns back at Ramah, even to the very fortified city of Tyre, and even to Hosah. And its exits shall be at the sea, from the lot of Achzib;	29 Poi il confine piegava verso Rama fino alla fortezza di Tiro, girava verso Cosa e faceva capo al mare, incluse Mecallèb, Aczib,
30 and Ummah, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty-two cities, and their villages.	30 Acco, Afek e Recob: ventidue città e i loro villaggi.
31 This is the possession of the sons of Asher, by their families, and the cities and their villages.	31 Questa fu l’eredità della tribù dei figli di Aser, secondo i loro casati: queste città e i loro villaggi.
32 The sixth lot fell to the sons of Naphtali, by their families.	32 La sesta parte sorteggiata toccò ai figli di Nèftali, secondo i loro casati.
33 And its border begins from Heleph and Elon, into Zaanannim, and Adami, which is Nekeb, and Jabneel, as far as Lakkum. And its exits are as far as the Jordan.	33 Il loro confine si estendeva da Chelef e dalla Quercia di Saanannìm ad Adamì-Nekeb e Iabneèl fino a Lakkum e faceva capo al Giordano;
34 And the border turns back to the west at Aznoth-tabor, and it goes out from there to Hukkok. And continues on to Zebulun, in the south, and to Asher, in the west, and to Judah, at the Jordan, toward the rising of the sun.	34 poi il confine piegava a occidente verso Aznot-Tabor e di là continuava verso Cukok, giungeva a Zàbulon dal lato di mezzogiorno, ad Aser dal lato di ponente e a Giuda del Giordano dal lato di levante.
35 And the most fortified cities are Ziddim, Zer and Hammath, and Rakkath, and Chinnereth,	35 Le fortezze erano Siddìm, Ser, Cammat, Rakkat, Chinneret,
36 and Adamah and Ramah, Hazor	36 Adamà, Rama, Asor,
37 and Kedesh and Edrei, Enhazor	37 Kedes, Edrei, En-Asor,
38 and Yiron and Migdalel, Horem and Bethanath, and Beth-shemesh: nineteen cities, and their villages.	38 Iron, Migdal-El, Corem, Bet-Anat e Bet-Semes: diciannove città e i loro villaggi.
39 This is the possession of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, by their families, the cities and their villages.	39 Questa fu l’eredità della tribù dei figli di Nèftali, secondo i loro casati: queste città e i loro villaggi.
40 The seventh lot went out to the tribe of the sons of Dan, by their families.	40 La settima parte sorteggiata toccò alla tribù dei figli di Dan, secondo i loro casati.
41 And the border of their possession was Zorah, and Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh, that is, the City of the Sun,	41 Il confine della loro eredità comprendeva Sorea, Estaòl, Ir-Semes,
42 Sha-alabbin, and Aijalon, and Ithlah,	42 Saalabbìn, Àialon, Itla,
43 Elon, and Timnah, and Ekron,	43 Elon, Timna, Ekron,
44 Eltekeh, Gibbethon and Baalath,	44 Eltekè, Ghibbetòn, Baalàt,
45 and Jehud, and Bene and Berak, and Gath-Rimmon,	45 Ieud, Bene-Berak, Gat-Rimmon,
46 and Mejarkon and Rakkon, with a border that looks toward Joppa,	46 Me-Iarkon e Rakkon con il territorio di fronte a Giaffa.
47 and there the last part is concluded. And the sons of Dan ascended and fought against Leshem, and they seized it. And they struck it with the mouth of the sword, and they possessed it, and they lived in it, calling it by the name of Leshem-Dan, according to the name of their father Dan.	47 Ma il territorio dei figli di Dan si estese più lontano, perché i figli di Dan andarono a combattere contro Lesem; la presero e la passarono a fil di spada, ne presero possesso, vi si stabilirono e la chiamarono Dan, dal nome di Dan loro capostipite.

49 And when he had completed dividing the land by lot to each one by their tribes, the sons of Israel gave a possession to Joshua, the son of Nun, in their midst,	49 Quando gli Israeliti ebbero finito di distribuire in eredità la terra secondo i suoi confini, diedero a Giosuè, figlio di Nun, una proprietà in mezzo a loro.
50 in accord with the precept of the Lord, the city he requested, Timnath-Serah, on mount Ephraim. And he built up the city, and he lived in it.	50 Secondo l’ordine del Signore, gli diedero la città che egli chiese: Timnat-Serach, sulle montagne di Èfraim. 51 These are the possessions which Eleazar, the priest, and Joshua, the son of Nun, and the leaders of the families and tribes of the sons of Israel divided by lot at Shiloh, before the Lord, at the door of the Tabernacle of the Testimony. And so did they divide the land.	51 Tali sono le eredità che il sacerdote Eleàzaro, Giosuè, figlio di Nun, e i capifamiglia delle tribù degli Israeliti distribuirono a sorte a Silo, davanti al Signore, all’ingresso della tenda del convegno.
