1 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	1 - Il Signore parlò a Mosè, e gli disse:
2 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them: When you will have entered into the land of your habitation, which I will give you,	2 «Parla ai figli d'Israele, e di' loro: - Quando sarete entrati nella terra della vostra abitazione, che io vi darò,
3 and you make an offering to the Lord, as a holocaust or as a victim, paying your vows, or as a voluntary offering of gifts, or in your solemnities, burning a sweet odor to the Lord, whether from the oxen or from the sheep:	3 e farete al Signore oblazione d'olocausto o di vittima, o per adempimento d'un voto o per spontanea offerta in dono, o quando nelle vostre solennità brucerete in odore soave al Signore bovi o pecore;
4 whoever immolates the victim shall offer a sacrifice of fine wheat flour, the tenth part of an ephah, sprinkled with oil, which shall have the measure of the fourth part of a hin,	4 allora, chiunque immolerà una vittima offrirà in sacrificio la decima parte d'un efi di fior di farina, intrisa con olio della misura d'un quarto di hin;
5 and he shall give the same measure of wine, poured out as libations, whether as a holocaust or as a victim.	5 e per far libazione darà un'egual misura di vino; questo, per ogni agnello [immolato] come olocausto o come ostia [pacifica].
6 With each lamb and each ram, there shall be a sacrifice of fine wheat flour, of two tenths, which shall be sprinkled with one third part of a hin of oil.	6 Per gli arieti, il sacrifizio sarà di due decimi di fior di farina, intrisa con un terzo di hin d'olio;
7 And he shall offer the same measure, one third part of wine, for the libation, as a sweet odor to the Lord.	7 per libazione offrirà in odore soave al Signore un terzo della medesima misura di vino.
8 Yet truly, when you will offer, from the oxen, a holocaust or a victim, in order to fulfill your vow or for peace-offering victims,	8 Quando poi farai olocausto od ostia di bovi per adempimento d'un voto oppure per vittima pacifica,
9 you shall give, for each ox, three tenths of fine wheat flour, sprinkled with oil, which has the measure of one half of one hin,	9 darai per ogni bove tre decimi di fior di farina intrisa con olio della misura di un mezzo hin;
10 and the wine, poured out as libations, shall be of the same measure, as an oblation of most sweet odor to the Lord.	10 e per libazione da spandersi, come oblazione d'odore gratissimo al Signore, un'eguale quantità di vino.
11 So shall you do	11 Così farai
12 for each ox, and ram, and lamb, and young goat.	12 per ogni bove, ariete, agnello e capro.
13 Both natives and sojourners	13 Tanto gl'indigeni quanto i forestieri
14 shall offer sacrifices by the same rituals.	14 offriranno i sacrifizi con le stesse regole.
15 There shall be one precept and one judgment, as much for yourselves as for newcomers to the land.”	15 Una sola è la legge e l'ordinanza, tanto per voi quanto per i forestieri -».
16 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	16 Il Signore parlò a Mosè e disse:
17 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them:	17 «Parla ai figli di Israele, e di' loro:
18 When you will arrive in the land which I will give to you,	18 - Quando sarete giunti nella terra ch'io vi darò,
19 and when you will eat from the bread of that region, you shall separate the first-fruits to the Lord	19 e mangerete il pane di quella regione, metterete da parte per il Signore le primizie
20 from the foods that you eat. Just as you separate the first-fruits of your threshing floors,	20 de' vostri cibi. Come voi separate per il Signore le primizie dell'aia,
21 so also shall you give the first-fruits of your cooked grains to the Lord.	21 così anche gli darete le primizie degli alimenti.
22 And if, through ignorance, you neglect any of these things, which the Lord has spoken to Moses,	22 Che se per ignoranza tralascerete qualcosa di ciò che il Signore ha detto a Mosè,
23 and which he has commanded through him for you, from the day that he began to command and thereafter,	23 e v'ha comandato per mezzo di lui, dal giorno nel quale cominciò a comandarvi in poi,
24 and if the multitude will have forgotten to do it, then they shall offer a calf from the herd, a holocaust as a most sweet odor to the Lord, and its sacrifice and libations, just as the ceremonies ask, and a he-goat for sin.	24 se tutta la moltitudine dimenticò di farlo, offrirà un vitello dell'armento per olocausto di odore gratissimo al Signore, col suo sacrifizio [di fior di farina] e la libazione, come le regole prescrivono, ed un capro per il peccato.
25 And the priest shall pray for the entire multitude of the sons of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them, because they did not sin willfully. Nevertheless, they shall offer incense to the Lord for themselves, and for sin, as well as for their error.	25 Il sacerdote pregherà per tutta la moltitudine dei figli d'Israele, e sarà loro perdonato, perchè [sebbene] non peccarono scientemente, nondimeno hanno bruciato un'offerta al Signore per sè e per il proprio peccato ed errore.
26 And it shall be forgiven all the people of the sons of Israel, as well as the newcomers who sojourn among them, for it is the culpability of all the people through neglect.	26 Sarà perdonato a tutta la turba de' figliuoli di Israele, ed a' forestieri che si trovano pellegrini fra loro, perchè fu colpa di tutto il popolo per ignoranza.
27 But if one soul will have sinned by not knowing, he shall offer a one-year-old she-goat for his sin.	27 Che se fu un solo a peccare per ignoranza, offrirà per il suo peccato una capra d'un anno,
28 And the priest shall pray for him, because he sinned unknowingly before the Lord. And he shall obtain pardon for him, and it will be forgiven him.	28 ed il sacerdote pregherà per lui, poichè senza saperlo peccò dinanzi al Signore; gli impetrerà il perdono, e gli sarà perdonato.
29 One law shall be for all who sin by ignorance, as much for natives as for newcomers.	29 Tanto per gl'indigeni quanto pei forestieri, è una sola la legge per quelli che avranno peccato per ignoranza.
30 Yet truly, the soul who commits any of these acts through arrogance, whether he is a citizen or a sojourner, because he has rebelled against the Lord, shall perish from among his people.	30 Quegli poi, il quale avrà commesso qualche male per superbia, sia egli cittadino o forestiero, essendo stato ribelle verso il Signore, sarà radiato di fra il suo popolo;
31 For he has despised the word of the Lord, and he has nullified his precept. For this reason, he shall be destroyed, and he shall bear his iniquity.”	31 egli ha disprezzato la parola del Signore e reso vano il suo comandamento; perciò [il nome suo] sarà cancellato e pagherà la pena della sua iniquità -».
32 And it happened that, when the sons of Israel were in the wilderness, and they had found a man collecting wood on the day of the Sabbath,	32 Ora avvenne che, essendo i figli d'Israele nel deserto trovarono un uomo il quale raccoglieva le legna in giorno di sabato.
33 they brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to the whole multitude.	33 Lo condussero a Mosè ed Aronne, e a tutta l'assemblea,
34 And they enclosed him in a prison, not knowing what they should do with him.	34 che lo tennero prigioniero, non sapendo che cosa dovessero farne.
35 And the Lord said to Moses, “Let that man be put to death; let the entire crowd crush him with stones, outside the camp.”	35 Ed il Signore disse a Mosè: «Sia messo a morte quell'uomo; il popolo lo lapidi, fuori del campo».
36 And when they had led him out, they overwhelmed him with stones, and he died, just as the Lord had instructed.	36 Perciò, condottolo fuori, lo lapidarono, e morì, come aveva comandato il Signore.
37 The Lord also said to Moses:	37 Disse ancora il Signore a Mosè:
38 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall tell them to make for themselves hems at the corners of their cloaks, placing in them ribbons of hyacinth,	38 «Parla a' figli d'Israele, e di' loro che si facciano delle frange per gli angoli de' loro mantelli, aggiungendovi dei nastri di color giacinto;
39 so that, when they see these, they may remember all the commandments of the Lord, and they may not follow their own thoughts and eyes, fornicating in various ways,	39 acciò, vedendole, si ricordino di tutt'i comandamenti del Signore, e non vadan dietro a' propri pensieri ed a' propri occhi, fornicando in più modi;
40 but instead, they, being more mindful of the precepts of the Lord, may do them and may be holy to their God.	40 ma invece, memori dei comandamenti del Signore, li eseguiscano, e siano santi al cospetto del loro Dio.
41 I am the Lord your God, who led you away from the land of Egypt, so that I may be your God.”	41 Io il Signore Dio vostro, che v'ho condotti via dall'Egitto, per essere il vostro Dio».
