1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	1 Ekkor így szólt az Úr Mózeshez:
2 “In the first month, on the first day of the month, you shall raise the tabernacle of the testimony,	2 »Az első hónapban, a hó első napján, állítsd fel a bizonyság hajlékát!
3 and you shall place the ark in it, and you shall release the veil before it.	3 Helyezd el benne a ládát, és bocsásd le előtte a függönyt.
4 And having brought in the table, you shall place the things which were solemnly commanded upon it. The lampstand shall stand with its lamps,	4 Azután vidd be az asztalt, és tedd rá azt, amit annak rendje és módja szerint megparancsoltam. Állítsd fel a mécstartót mécseseivel együtt.
5 and the altar of gold, in which the incense is burned, shall stand before the ark of the testimony. You shall place the tent at the entrance of the tabernacle,	5 Helyezd az aranyoltárt, amelyen a füstölőszert égetik, a bizonyság ládája elé, és akaszd fel a függönyt a hajlék bejáratára.
6 and before it, the altar of holocaust.	6 Ez elé aztán tedd az egészen elégő áldozat oltárát,
7 The washtub shall stand between the altar and the tabernacle, and you shall fill it with water.	7 az oltár és a sátor közé pedig a mosdómedencét, és ez utóbbit töltsd meg vízzel.
8 And you shall encompass the atrium and its entrance with hangings.	8 Végül vond be a kárpitokkal az udvart körben és a bejáratnál.
9 And, having taken up the oil of unction, you shall anoint the tabernacle along with its articles, so that they may be sanctified.	9 Aztán vedd a kenet olaját, és kend fel a hajlékot felszerelésével együtt, hogy szentté legyen.
10 The altar of holocaust and all its vessels,	10 Kend fel az egészen elégő áldozat oltárát és minden eszközét,
11 the washtub with its base, and all things, you shall consecrate with the oil of unction, so that they may be the Holy of holies.	11 a mosdómedencét és talapzatát. Mindezt a kenet olajával szenteld fel, hogy szentek legyenek.
12 And you shall bring forward Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tabernacle of the testimony, and, having washed them with water,	12 Aztán állítsd Áront és fiait a bizonyság sátrának ajtajához, mosd meg őket vízzel,
13 you shall clothe them in the holy vestments, so that they may minister to me, and so that their unction may accomplish an everlasting priesthood.”	13 aztán öltöztesd fel Áront a szent ruhákba, és kend fel őt és szenteld fel, hogy papként szolgáljon nekem.
14 And Moses did all that the Lord had instructed.	14 A fiait is állítsd oda és öltöztesd fel a köntösökbe,
15 Therefore, in the first month of the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was put in place.	15 és szenteld fel őket, amint felszentelted apjukat, hogy papként szolgáljanak nekem, és felkenésük örökös papság legyen számukra nemzedékről nemzedékre.«
16 And Moses raised it up, and he positioned the panels as well as the bases and the bars, and he set up the columns,	16 Meg is tette Mózes mindazt, amit az Úr parancsolt.
17 and he stretched out the roof over the tabernacle, imposing a cover above it, just as the Lord had decreed.	17 A második esztendő első hónapjában, a hónap első napján felállították tehát a hajlékot.
18 And he placed the testimony in the ark, applying the bars beneath, and the oracle above.	18 Mózes felállította a hajlékot, elhelyezte a deszkákat, a talpakat és a reteszrudakat, felállította az oszlopokat,
19 And when he had brought the ark into the tabernacle, he drew the veil before it, in order to fulfill the commandment of the Lord.	19 ráterítette a hajlékra a fedelet, arra meg rátette a takarót, úgy, ahogy az Úr parancsolta.

22 And he placed the lampstand in the tabernacle of the testimony, away from the table, on the south side,	22 Aztán betette az asztalt a bizonyság sátrába, az északi oldalra, a függönyön kívülre,
23 setting the lamps in order, according to the precept of the Lord.	23 és elrendezte rajta a kitett kenyereket, úgy, ahogy az Úr parancsolta Mózesnek.
24 He also positioned the altar of gold under the roof of the testimony, opposite the veil,	24 Betette a mécstartót is a bizonyság sátrába, szembe az asztallal, a déli oldalra,
25 and he heaped upon it the incense of aromatics, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.	25 és sorban rárakta a mécseseket az Úr parancsa szerint.

27 and the altar of holocaust in the vestibule of the testimony, offering the holocaust and the sacrifices upon it, just as the Lord had decreed.	27 és fűszerekből való füstölőszert gyújtott rajta, úgy, ahogy az Úr parancsolta Mózesnek.
28 Likewise, he stationed the washtub between the tabernacle of the testimony and the altar, filling it with water.	28 Aztán felakasztotta a függönyt a bizonyság hajlékának bejáratára.
29 And Moses and Aaron, along with his sons, washed their hands and feet,	29 Elhelyezte az egészen elégő áldozat oltárát a bizonyság bejárata előtt, és egészen elégő és ételáldozatokat mutatott be rajta, úgy, ahogy az Úr parancsolta.
30 whenever they would enter the covering of the covenant, and when they approached to the altar, just as the Lord had instructed Moses.	30 Elhelyezte a mosdómedencét is a bizonyság sátra és az oltár közé, megtöltötte vízzel,
31 And he raised up the atrium around the tabernacle and the altar, drawing the hanging at its entrance. After all these things were perfected,	31 és Mózes, valamint Áron és fiai megmosták kezüket és lábukat,

33 Neither could Moses enter the covering of the covenant: the cloud was covering all things, and the majesty of the Lord was flashing. For the cloud had covered everything.	33 Felállította az udvart is, a hajlék és az oltár köré, és feltette bejáratára a függönyt. Így aztán minden elkészült.

36 Certainly, the cloud of the Lord lay over the tabernacle by day, and the fire by night, being seen by all the people of Israel throughout all their resting places.	36 Ha felemelkedett a felhő a hajlékról, elindultak Izrael fiai, nemzetségenként;
	37 ha állt felette, azon a helyen maradtak.
	38 Nappal ugyanis az Úr felhője lebegett a hajlék felett, éjszaka pedig tűz, Izrael egész népének láttára, egész vándorlásuk alatt.
