1 The kings of the land east of the Jordan, from the River Arnon to Mount Hermon, including all the eastern section of the Arabah, whom the Israelites conquered and whose lands they occupied, were:	1 Hi sunt reges, quos percusserunt filii Israel et possederunt terram eorum trans Iordanem ad solis ortum, a torrente Arnon usque ad montem Hermon et omnem orientalem plagam Arabae.
2 First, Sihon, king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon. His domain extended from Aroer, which is on the bank of the Wadi Arnon, to include the wadi itself, and the land northward through half of Gilead to the Wadi Jabbok,	2 Sehon rex Amorraeorum, qui habitavit in Hesebon, dominatus est ab Aroer, quae sita est super ripam torrentis Arnon, et a media parte vallis et in dimidia parte Galaad usque ad torrentem Iaboc, qui est terminus filiorum Ammon;
3 as well as the Arabah from the eastern side of the Sea of Chinnereth, as far south as the eastern side of the Salt Sea of the Arabah in the direction of Beth-jeshimoth, to a point under the slopes of Pisgah.	3 et in Araba usque ad mare Chenereth in oriente et usque ad mare Arabae, quod est mare Salsissimum, ad orientalem plagam in via, quae ducit Bethiesimoth, et in australi parte, quae iacet ad radices Phasga.

6 After Moses, the servant of the LORD, and the Israelites conquered them, he assigned their land to the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, as their property.	6 Moyses famulus Domini et filii Israel percusserunt eos; tradiditque terram eorum Moyses in possessionem Rubenitis et Gaditis et dimidiae tribui Manasse.
