1 Hallelujah! How good to celebrate our God in song; how sweet to give fitting praise.	1 Alleluja. Dobrze jest grać naszemu Bogu, wdzięcznie jest nucić pieśń pochwalną.
2 The LORD rebuilds Jerusalem, gathers the dispersed of Israel,	2 Pan buduje Jeruzalem, gromadzi rozproszonych z Izraela;
3 Heals the brokenhearted, binds up their wounds,	3 On leczy złamanych na duchu i przewiązuje ich rany.
4 Numbers all the stars, calls each of them by name.	4 On liczbę gwiazd oznacza, wszystkie je woła po imieniu.
5 Great is our Lord, vast in power, with wisdom beyond measure.	5 Pan nasz jest wielki i zasobny w siły, mądrość Jego jest niewypowiedziana.
6 The LORD sustains the poor, but casts the wicked to the ground.	6 Pan dźwiga pokornych, a poniża występnych aż do ziemi.
7 Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; with the lyre celebrate our God,	7 Śpiewajcie pieśń dziękczynną Panu, grajcie Bogu naszemu na harfie.
8 Who covers the heavens with clouds, provides rain for the earth, makes grass sprout on the mountains,	8 On niebo okrywa chmurami, deszcz przygotowuje dla ziemi; sprawia, że góry wypuszczają trawę i zioła, by ludziom służyły;
9 Who gives animals their food and ravens what they cry for.	9 On daje pokarm bydłu, pisklętom kruka to, o co wołają.
10 God takes no delight in the strength of horses, no pleasure in the runner's stride.	10 Nie kocha się w sile rumaka; nie ma też upodobania w goleniach męża.
11 Rather the LORD takes pleasure in the devout, those who await his faithful care.	11 Podobają się Panu ci, którzy się Go boją, którzy wyczekują Jego łaski.
12 Glorify the LORD, Jerusalem; Zion, offer praise to your God,	12 Chwal, Jerozolimo, Pana, chwal Boga twego, Syjonie!
13 Who has strengthened the bars of your gates, blessed your children within you,	13 Umacnia bowiem zawory bram twoich i błogosławi synom twoim w tobie.
14 Brought peace to your borders, and filled you with finest wheat.	14 Zapewnia pokój twoim granicom, nasyca ciebie najlepszą pszenicą.
15 The LORD sends a command to earth; his word runs swiftly!	15 Na ziemię zsyła swoje orędzie, mknie chyżo Jego słowo.
16 Thus snow is spread like wool, frost is scattered like ash,	16 On daje śnieg niby wełnę, a szron jak popiół rozsiewa.
17 Hail is dispersed like crumbs; before such cold the waters freeze.	17 Ciska swój grad jak okruchy chleba; od Jego mrozu ścinają się wody.
18 Again he sends his word and they melt; the wind is unleashed and the waters flow.	18 Posyła słowo swoje i każe im tajać; każe wiać swemu wiatrowi, a spływają wody.
19 The LORD also proclaims his word to Jacob, decrees and laws to Israel.	19 Obwieścił swoje słowa Jakubowi, Izraelowi ustawy swe i wyroki.
20 God has not done this for other nations; of such laws they know nothing. Hallelujah!	20 Żadnemu narodowi tak nie uczynił: o swoich wyrokach ich nie pouczył. Alleluja.
